Nice place, great location and price

Posted May 27, 2015
We stayed for 3 days over the Memorial Day weekend 2015. This was a good hotel. Great location and very convenient to the Metro train. They have a REAL, full breakfast selection which was great..! We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat.

Very clean, near DC. Breakfast very good. Easy to locate, staff was friendly. Only I did not have time to try the pool.

Need better communication

Posted May 11, 2015
Hotel itself is fine, but there were two issues that should be addressed. First day, we got up late and showered after breakfast. Did not take down do not disturb sign until around 10:30. When we returned in the evening, the room had not been cleaned. We inquired and were told that if the do not disturb sign was not taken down by 10:00 room would not be cleaned unless we made a special request. Started using computer in lobby one evening and could not get my document to print. Was then told by hotel staff that the other computer was attached to the printer, but the one I was using was not. Luckily, the document I had to type twice was fairly short. In both instances, something should have been communicated ahead of time.

Nice area bad hotel

Posted May 8, 2015
The hotel is in a nice professional area but is somewhat ran down. Water didn't work in room, towels looked dirty but were clean. I asked for additional towels after working out and was told no. Room was very dated with old furniture. Very disappointed.

Support a friend getting medical treatment nearby

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, great shower pressure. Great bacon.
Cons: Given the age of the property keep it maintained. Move the smokers away from the doors.
Location: Convenient location.
I needed a hotel at a good price to stay overnight in support of a friend who was having a sleep done. The hotel was older but in very good shape. The hallways are clean and well maintained. Elevators at either end of the hallways made going to and from the room a breeze. The queens beds were comfortable and the room somewhat quite minus the road noise outside. Breakfast was very good with great bacon.

Old & dirty & over priced

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Had to book this hotel because there was absolutely nothing in the DC or Crystal City area where I was attending a conference. Upon arrival I noticed that the carpet was stained, the mattress was lumpy, the bed spread had a burn hole like that of a cigarette burn, the bathroom light was out, furniture was absolutely outdated, and the bathroom tile seemed original to construction year. Worst of all was the fire alarm that went off at 2 am and did not stop till 6 am. The fire department could not fix it. NOBODY SLEPT that night. It was a horrible experience.

Not s good hotel. Mid range motel

Posted Apr 24, 2015
On the first night fire alarm went off five times because people were smoking by the exit and when they came inside the alarm went off. The vending machine did not work unless you had a one dollar bill. The door did not have a tight fit in the frame. First floor room next to the parking lot curtain didn't fully close by itself. I could honestly go on

Woken up by alarms 5 times in one night

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: location and price
Cons: clean it, update it, fix alarms
I've stayed at this hotel twice. The first time the alarm went off once in the middle of the night. The second stay, the alarm woke me up constantly, 5 times from 2AM to 5:30AM. The place is very run down. It is conveniently located, but a terrible place to stay. I couldn't sleep all night with the alarms. The staff is very nice and they refunded my money, but I was still a mess for work the next day.
