“Will be back next year”
This has become our hotel of choice for our yearly trip to Six Flags. Even during construction in the past, there were no problems
“"staff was rude, and rooms were old. Would not recommend it"”
There was a wasp nest in the room. When we called the front desk, they did not even apologize, and made it seem like it was an inconvenience, to change rooms. When we requested a room near the pool, they mentioned that the hotel was full, however the parking lot, and the hotel resturants were empty. While we are waiting in the lobby for the room change, they were ignoring us. The rooms did not look very clean. It was not worth the price. I would not stay there again.
“Hotel needed updating”
Although the hotel was clean and the people were very friendly and helpful, the carpet was worn and needed updating, as well as the furniture in my room. The room also felt small as the ceiling was low - if I was tall then I would have trouble taking a shower as the drop ceiling and was low.
“Great Service at older hotel”
Front desk and manager were very knowledgeable and friendly, not the cliche Mass. snobs.Hotel has seen better days, but was clean. Comp breakfast was usual disappointment, most free breakfasts are, 2 adults one kid, their policy is only 2 free breakfasts, had to pay for 5 yr old. Should have just gone out. But at least there was friendly wait staff.
“A perfect hotel for a business stay!”
Please see review above. - The only difficulty we experienced is the air conditioning in one of the two rooms had to really struggle with the unusual heat and humidity they were experiencing on those particular days. The hotel staff offered to move me to another room but I opted not to do that - They were great though and very attentive.
“Not Good”
When I walked into the lobby to register, I was overwhelmed by a very strong odor of chlorine. I quickly learned that it came from the indoor pool and the odor permeated throughout the entire first floor. The furniture and fixtures are old and dingy. Curtain, draps, ahd upholstery were stained. My door did not shut unless I yanked it very hard. Noise from the AC motor in another room kept me awake. I didn't walk on the carpet in my bare feet. My summary is that this hotel is old and needs a lot of work. I don't recommend it.
“Deceptivly Nice”
Great location, easy access to highways and attractions. The hotel has a good setup with a pool, tiki "bar". Hotel personelle were very attentive. Couldn't ask for more with the included breakfast. Will return if we're in the area.
