Located on the far south edge of Springfield it is a clean, well kept hotel; we had a spacious and comfortable room with a decent TV. During our trip we have stayed in a number of hotels and my wife and I agree this was the best one. Be aware nothing is within walking distance and it is a 10 minute drive to downtown and to any of the A. Lincoln NPS locations.

We were passing through after the eclipse and pre booked a very reasonably priced room. It was very clean and comfortable. I love that the mini fridge also had a freezer as we travel with our own drink cooler and could refreeze ice packs rather than use messy ice.

Very clean and spacious. Staff was very nice and did not have to wait to check in or out. Breakfast was good, with make your own waffles and a variety of buffet items as well as packaged yogurt and other pastries.

All three beds in our room are VERY stained. The sheets are too small and kept popping off all night. The pullout bed had something stuck to the inside of the cushion that obviously had not been wiped. The staff told us they had not done laundry so they had no extra blankets. We bought a blanket at a nearby Walmart. The pool was out of towels, the lady handed us a pile and asked us to stock them for her-the next morning they were all gone again. We had to restock their towels again. We only talked to two staff members but both were very unfriendly and unkept themselves. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this really made our stay a lot more stressful than it needed to be:( very disappointed

There was a 5-7 complimentary dinner with sloppy joes, baked potatoes soda for the kids and beer for the adults. Nice addition! Very clean, would stay again!

They did not attempt to turn the room, for towels trash, soaps, let alone bedding (sheets). Im being somewhat generous with the ratings. I dod call for Toilet paper, and the lady came from down the hall. But i dont feel you should have to call for things, like trash, towels and soap, for a 3 nite stay. I may be wrong though.

While our room was at least clean, the breakfast was tolerable, rest of our experience was horrible. When we arrive around 7 p.m. the lobby is filled with children/teenagers running all over while their parents sat obliviously in the breakfast room. While we were checking in, we were told the elevator was inoperable until at least the following Wednesday, meaning we had to haul our luggage up 3 flights of stairs (my husband and I are in our 60s. There was no mention of the broken elevator in your description. If we had not booked the $210 nonrefundable stay, I would have canceled immediately. It was a freezing cold night and since our room was directly across from the stairwell, when the door opened to the stairs, the outside exit stairway door was froze OPEN, so not only was minus12 degree cold air was blowing up the stairwell all night, but anyone could come in, as it was not secure! Kids were running up and down the stairs chasing each other until around 11 p.m. During the night when the heat would click off, we woke up several times with a cold draft blowing over the bed because it had come into our room under our door! I definitely would not recommend this hotel. I definitely deserve a refund.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and clean. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. The staff was very friendly. They have a manager’s reception Monday through Thursday and offer free drinks. The breakfast had many choices including REAL eggs.

The elevator was out of service for construction. This wasn’t listed on the booking. It wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but according to the employee working the desk, all of the housekeepers were off due to the holiday so the only rooms available were on the third floor. Herded 3 kids under the age of 10 and 3 bags up 3 flights of stairs to the room. There was no apology, offer for reduced rate or other accommodations…I wonder what it would have been like if I needed an accessible room. Overall, the room and lobby were clean and quiet.

The hotel is just average nothing over the top or extremely bad. Just a so-so experience. Front desk was friendly. The walls were thin and neighbors were loud. Walked in on a guest screaming over the balcony about the noise. Yikes!!

I stay at this hotel at least 1-2 times per year when visiting family. It’s consistently clean, comfortable, and has friendly, helpful staff. This visit, the elevator was out of order, which has not happened before. The front desk staff were able to get us a room on the first floor so we didn’t have to take our baggage up any stairs. We GREATLY appreciated that since we had several boxes of presents for our family.
