Very Pleased, would come again!Posted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Pool area.
Cons: Free wifi.
Location: Located right off I-55 with lots of restaurant choices nearby.
upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff. Plenty of carts to bring in luggage, but no bell staff (it was Thanksgiving eve and hotel only had a few guests. Had grandson with me and we enjoyed the pool area. It was very clean, plenty of towels and had a great spa and sauna. Work out room contained treads, elipticals, bikes and weights. On Thanksgiving they had the biggest spread I may have ever seen with a wait staff to complement! My cons were 1) $9.95 for wifi (but they did offer a free business center with computers and printing) and 2) starched sheets. Rooms were clean, well appointed and bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not what I was expectingPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: The staff
Cons: See above
Location: Lots of restaurants close by
I have stayed in this hotel in the past and was pleased, however my last stay was disappointing. The room had a odd musty smell, and the bed and bedding was awful. The bed was very old and sagged in the middle. The sheets were hard and crunchy. The room service food was awful. I ordered a ice cream sundae and all of the ice cream was melted by the time it got to my room. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating though. A few hours after I checked in they called to see how the room was, when I expressed my disappointment they offered to move me. At that point I was exhausted from traveling and had already unpacked so I declined.

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and the condition was excellent as well. My only question marks are in regards to two of the "included" items namely the free breakfast which was good, but cost me $80, and free internet which was free in the lobby but not in the room. Other than that, it was a very nice place with great staff and location.

over rated hotelPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: srtucturally when you first enter the hotel its so big and clean.
Cons: pls review my comments above.
structurally it was nice clean. was surprised that they dont have any bell boy on standby when you arrive, the registration is on the 2nd floor, i also notice there was no security. The room size is ok but they dont have a table lamp with outlet so if you have to do some paperworks or computer work. the toilet does not flush well you have to hold the flasher. water pressure is low. cleaning lady compared to other hotels ids not quite friendly. I was expecting more from this hotel and for the money I paid not worth it.

Nice RoomPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a nice room however for the price we paid it was not extraordinary (thought it was pricey and the beds are fulls not queens) the hotel was super booked so the pool, which I thought would be awesome to take my kids swimming when they got bored, was so over packed (the size of the pool is so tiny compared to how many rooms the hotel has) we didn't dare to take them. We did eat in the restaurants and thought it was pretty good. They area that the hotel is in was not the best and it's a slight hike to Lincoln's exhibits but it was not to bad. I rated it a 4 because the room was nice, they had restaurants and a pool, and I have stayed in far worse places that this would be on the nicer end. We had 2 kids with us (5 & 1) so my husband had to sleep with 1 and I with the other not because that was safer but because the beds were so small. Overall nice, but pricey!

Nice Hotel close to the Illinois FairgroundPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: good breakfast with omelets to order and waffels
Cons: more shampoo, conditioner and bubble bath(witch we did not have any)
Location: fair ground
I had to ask for a different room because the one we were to stay in smelled like someone smoked in it and since I never smoked in my life I had to ask for a different room witch I got with no problem. I really enjoyed the super white bedding and the super white towels in the bathroom, also the shampoo and conditioner had a great fragrance we just did not have enough for all of us.
