Great hotel, friendly staff terrible restaurantPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The condition and overall ambiance of the hotel.
Cons: Improve the fare in the restaurant. Get rid of the noisy sheets.
Location: Location is right off of I-55(very easy to get to) We went to attend the Illinois State Fair
Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Only two things were bothersome: 1. We were looking forward to and good steak dinner in the restaurant itself was decorated nicely and clean, however, food was absolutely terrible. It was one of the worst steaks I ever had in my life. It was on par with the type one would get at a greasy-spoon diner(maybe worse). 2. The bed sheets were made of some sort of plastic material. Every time my wife turned over it woke me up it was soo loud. I had never experienced loud sheet before.

Only issue was the beds in our room. We reserved a room with two "double beds" for family of 4. The beds were smaller than double beds I have experienced in all other hotels and not very soft. It is a good thing that we are all relatively small to fit on the beds.

Average at bestPosted Aug 5, 2014
Nice hotel but starting to look tired. In need of renovations. Drawers in room were dusty inside and actually had 2 dead bugs in them. Also the bathroom walls had cracked wallpaper. 2 cups were provoided with only one packet of coffee. Pool had lots of hair clumps in it (and we were the only ones in it at 6am when it should gave been clean). Overall disappointing experience. We actually checked out the night before we were scheduled to leave because we were so disappointed.

Friendly staffPosted Jul 28, 2014
This hotel is just ok. Rooms need some remodeling. They charge for wifi? C'mon! Sheets are very hard, plastic like. Pool was small, noises and the chlorine vapors were so bad we had to leave the room. The price is not in line woth amenities.

Great view from our room. Loved being on the 10thPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Everything you needed was in one place. Food, laundry, bar etc.
Location: Went to historical Hannibal, Mo and was disapointed in how dead the town was.
Great place to stay. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Hotel has a very good restaurant and cafe on site.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 6, 2014
The rooms were nice but need to be a little better cleaning. The tub had a small chip in it. I still love the bed. It's so comfortable.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Pleasant staff, didn't explore around (stayed just a night) and nice comfy bed!
Cons: fix the doors!
Location: lots of dining options! we were there on a quick one day business trip so didn't have time to explore.
We stayed one night. Really comfy beds! Nice view. Lots of restaurants around. The only annoying thing is that the doors slam oddly upon closing, so we heard loud slamming constantly as people would leave.

Fitted Sheet on the bed was either too small or turned the wrong way
