“Not really impressed”
Generally speaking, I have always been satisfied with the rooms at the "Extended Stay" chain of hotels--the rooms are sufficiently comfortable and I like the convenience of being able to prepare meals in the room, if needed. However, this Extended Stay Hotel did not meet their typical standards. First, although I was told that the floor I was on was a "No Smoking' floor, it consistently smelled strongly of cigarette smoke (and I did confirm with hotel staff that it was a non-smoking floor). Also, there is a point at which a firm mattress becomes a hard bed, and, for me, the bed in the room had way surpassed "firm." It was bad enough that I got up about 2:30 AM and decided I was more comfortable sleeping in the easy chair that was in the room! Really not a restful night, and I was not as "ready to go" the next morning, as I should have been!
“Not impressed. Not as nice as I thought.”
The hotel was adequate for the amount I paid, however the bed left much to be desired. It was very frim, and very noisy. Just sitting in it created a scrunching, loud squeaking sound. The cleanliness was OK at best, but seemed to need updating.

Good price from Expedia, but paid for exactly what I got out of the room. Not impressed and will not be going back.

Bathroom card stated that there would be restocking after 1+ nights, did not happen, plugged toilet, had to do our own maintenance

We will not go back to this hotel. There was still trash left from the previous customer, that doesn't put much confidence in the cleanliness of the room.
“No Guarentee You Get What You Reserve”
The location of this hotel is very convenient to the freeway. It's really not frills. The kitchen was not stocked with essentials like flatware or just one glass. In general, it need maintenance, like in the bathroom the floor had big bubbles in the flooring. I reserved a room with a king size bed, however, when I checked in there was not one available as they had given it to a guest that was already there. They told me they do not guarantee the size bed, jusst the number of beds. Therefore, I got ONE queen size bed. They give preferencial treatment to extended stay guests over single night guests.

In town to tailgate at an MSU football game, needed a frig, freezer and kitchen prep area; I wasn't disappointed.
“Good Quality for a GREAT price”
I've stayed with these folks before. The Staff is helpful and friendly. The Rooms are spacious and clean. The "kitchen" area is easy to use and great for that quick breakfast, the way YOU like it!!
