Traveled with my tween boys and their friend. Great time. Walked to basketball hall of fame,unos pizza, plan b burger, and cold stone creamery and pool time. Mike at the front desk is ab fab and adorable. His smile and compliments are infestious. I appreciate you.

Group of very young hockey players that were running inside hotel. mvery noisy until 11 pm. Elevators had become a tool for them to play inside them. very bad

The desk person name mike was so friendly and helpful. He was kind enough to comp breakfast the next day bc it was next day. 12/16. Very kind of him and a nice smile and disposition.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade, it’s worn and dated. The furniture was worn and chipped, the upholstered chair looked worn and dirty. While my room looked clean at first glance, it’s in dire need of a deep clean. The shower had plenty of hot water, but the pressure dies off after about 30 seconds. My room faced the parking lot but the window has only a sheer curtain and there’s no way to close the heavier curtain to block out light because they’re fixed to the wall and don’t extend over the window. I woke at 3am because the lights went on in the parking lot and lit up the room as if it were daytime (think stadium lights, VERY bright). The noise from the hallway and the connecting room was loud. I could hear everything going on in the other room and hallway; no privacy to speak of. The connecting door to that room was unlocked when I arrived. The mattress was not great and should be replaced. There is a railway alongside the hotel, freight trains go by at least once an hour, it’s very loud and lasts about a minute. The only positive I have is the staff, everyone was very friendly, however, the front desk staff should know not to announce names and room locations for solo female travelers upon check in while there are other travelers waiting in line behind them. Please respect each guest’s privacy. I also liked that there was a security guard/vehicle patrolling the parking lot throughout the night; Springfield is not the safest place. I would not stay here again.

A Headache All Around
This was just a getaway for my wife an I. I booked the room on a Sunday night and then monday we had a curve ball thrown at us. We tried to cancel the room within 24 hours of booking it and were unable to do so. That's the first issue.. After shifting things around we were able to use the hotel for the weekend but when we arrived we got put into a double queen instead of the single king we reserved. This would be problem number two.. We went down to front desk and with a speal about booking through a third party WHICH I'LL NEVER AGAIN!! We got moved to a king room.. Starting to look bright? No... The king room was uncomfortable and the TV was so old and laggy that it took a solid two or three seconds for picture to come through when changing the channel. The remote was something from the 1990's and There was no guide to tell you what was playing on the channel... Problem number three.. In the morning you can go down for breakfast, nice but not. They do not include breakfast for $250 dollars a night... Problem 4.. You have to be waited on by staff. WHich was terrible. Food was little better then gas station food. I will not go back to this restaurant and I wont be using third parties to book hotels ever again.

Property is in need of some regular maintenance. One of two elevators has been out of service for weeks. Lights in bathroom flicker. Television worked but not well. And the first full night and morning the building had no hot water, though they did get that working by the second night.

My room was clean and the staff quick to help. But I won’t go back. Property overall feels dated and old. Especially for a Hilton. Bottom sheet was too small to tuck under the mattress and kept bunching up under me. Only one thin blanket in the bed so I kept heat higher than comfortable and air was very dry and parched. TV guide was difficult to find on their website and only listed local call letters so you have to surf through each channel (no guide available with the remote). Lobby coffee only served artificial creamers and breakfast cost $16.95 per person. I don’t eat enough to make it worthwhile.

I asked about a walkable downtown and was told that the homeless are aggressive at night. We have children so did not venture out. We also were charged $50 more than what I was quoted via Expedia. Will avoid Hilton in our future travels.

Hello. Simply put, there was 1 and I mean 1 elevator operating for all guests during my stay. The wait was ridiculous to come up and down. Further, my reservation included breakfast as per my checkout with expedia and the manager stated there was no breakfast with my reservation. Frustration and upsetting to say the least.

Very disappointed that I did not get any Hilton points due to booking through Expedia. Why does Expedia ask for frequent flyers/stays numbers? Hotel needs renovations of rooms - we had signs of mildew on our bathroom ceiling. Hotel cleans rooms only upon request and room cost does not reflect any discounted prices yet “usual”services are upon request only.

Hotel needs some upgrades. Mattress was warped and majority of the furniture was chipped. Shower water pressure was very weak. Worst was the smell of human feces on the corner of the warped bed. Would not recommend and would not stay there again.

Small expensive pantry to purchase snacks and water. Disppoinyed that we found food from the previous guests in our fridge. And no compensation for the garbage found.
