“Average motel at good price”

Good, basic motel easily accessed from the freeway and fairly central to Springfield attractions. Everything we really needed for a couple of days visiting relatives in town. There is a tiny pool, a small laundry area, a basic breakfast. Be careful if you are allergic to tobacco-- non-smoking rooms really mean rooms sprayed with scent to cover the smell. The best thing about this place is the patient front desk staff -- answered all our questions and gave us great directions along with a map whenever we needed.

“Could be better”

We got to our room and found none of our lights worked and the beds were terrible. Rooms are clean enough and it is obvious they have tried to update it but cut a lot of corners in doing so. The front desk staff was very helpful in getting us some lighting though. The immediate area has lots of good restaurants but if you go off the main road, it is not a good area at all. My advise would be to stay close to the hotel if you choose to stay here.

“Not bad for the price”

Wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed. Check in clerk was new but did an excellent job. Very prompt, friendly and did a great job.

“HomeStay Inn review”

The room was comfortable. Although the in-room coffee maker was missing, and the desk lamp was broken, when we arrived, staff corrected these problems promptly upon request. Housekeeping should probably be more proactive. There were a couple days when amenities like towels were not replaced as they should have been. Although the housekeeper corrected this when asked, it would have been easier if we did not have to make the request. These were minor inconveniences, though. For the price we paid, we were very satisfied with the experience and will probably stay here again the next time we visit Springfield. The continental breakfast was better than most. They had a waffle iron and batter, so guests could make fresh waffles. This was quite a treat.

“Affordable Stay”

This hotel for the price met our expectations in overall location, comfort and price. The only negative I had was the bathtub had a dirt ring around the tub and hair left in it. There was a small gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Overall when I check into a hotel I spray lysol, bed bug spray and I wipe down with clorox wipes anyway to ensure my families safety. The hotel staff was very professional and I will stay there again. We were close to the interstate, shopping and restaurants.

“Not Bad For the Money...”

For what I paid, this hotel wasn't bad. Had a decent size tube TV, (good luck plugging into it though), and the beds weren't too terrible. One was dramatically higher than the other, which I found funny. Everything was clean so far as I could see. The sheets on the bed aren't worth bothering with, so bring your own or be prepared. Furniture in the room wasn't in great repair; neither was the hotel itself. But, again, for what I paid, it wasn't bad. The A/C unit is antiquated, but it definitely will keep you cool. Beyond all that, I really don't have anything negative or positive to say about the hotel. Cheap place to sleep or hang out, and it's not disgusting, but not classy either. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast was nice. If I'm short on cash, I'll probably stay here again.
