Pros: Clost to an Outback.
Cons: Communication with the owner.
Location: Just off the expressway - convenient.
The motel was all but empty, and they placed me as far from the office as possible, about 200 yds. My initial room had a very bad odor, and I was told that I had booked a smoking room. I never stay in a smoking room. They relocated me to a nearby room that was much better, but still far from the office.

Bar on property made stay bad experiencePosted Aug 2, 2011
Rooms were old. Bar on property made parking at hotel difficult and many people outside your rooms having too good of a time.

Took a mini vacation for three days as our daughter attended her summer orientation at a college in Springfield. Found this motel online for a fair price.. , As we were on a budget. The website showed a pool n also listed upon request cribs n cots, got there the pool wasn't functioning n when we called the front desk for a crib for our grandchild, there was none. I learned from this experience to call the motel, pictures on a website dont tell the whole story. We will not be staying there again.

Not Impressed...Posted Jun 12, 2007
If you are going to the Big E in West Springfield, do not stay at the Knights Inn. It was an old crumbling motel with such features as: no heat until we complained; no electrical outlet in the bathroom for shavers; no bath (shower only); and no curtain on bathroom window (my wife loved that one).

Needs lots of workPosted Mar 11, 2007
The people were great, but the rooms need repairs desperately. We needed a place to stay with our 2 dogs for a couple days until we closed on our new house. My daughter and granddaughter became very ill after the first night. Price was high for what we had.
