What a NICE surprise!Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The clean, modern and new facilities.
Cons: The lobby is fine and clean, but the rooms are really nice
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It has been completely renovated and the rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable, clean and modern. The quality and ambiance of the room was well above what would be expected for this price. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the area and I'd stay again if I were.

Very nice hotel!!Posted Jul 16, 2014
Cons: The location, which you cannot improve
We usually don't stay in La Quinta hotels, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!! Everything was updated and looked really good. The lobby was very pretty, staff was friendly and the indoor pool was great for the kids. They even had laundry facilities that came in handy!! The free breakfast was really good!! Even though Springfield is not the nicest town, the hotel made it well worth it!!

Pleasantly surprised!Posted Jul 11, 2014
Location: 10 minute drive to Six Flags, which is why we booked here. We also found everything we needed nearby - restaurants and banks.
I had never stayed at a La Quinta hotel before, but it was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great. Breakfast was a bonus - yummy waffles if you don't mind waiting your turn to make them. My picky husband even found the beds comfortable (which never happens!)

Close to Six Flags New England.Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Clean and free breakfast.
Cons: Sofa couch..needs new mattress
Location: Six Flags about 10-15 minutes away.
Hotel and room was clean and breakfast was very nice. My only compliant was that the sofa bed was so uncomfortable my 6year old and 8 year old refused to sleep on it because they could feel the springs. Otherwise, we would recommend hotel and we would stay again. Thank you.

Loud dog barking during the night!Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pets should not be allowed in rooms when it is mild outside and they could be left in the guest's automobile.

Rude-imentary staffPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The rooms are very nice and comfortable.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: Only minutes from Six Flags New England, which is a great amusement park!
Hotel was nice, but staff was rude. We called front desk twice - once to inquiry about the pool hours and once to get more towels. She didn't know the hours the pool was open and she informed us they didn't have any more towels as they were all being laundered. However, she offered no guidance as to when we might expect more towels. (Fortunately, some were brought to our room within minutes). During breakfast the next morning the staff was taking out the garbage through the dining area - not very appetizing!

Icing in the cake there is now a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot ; ) Awesome!!!!

Close to attractionsPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Continental breakfast had a different variety everyday. Nice change from other hotels that offer same options daily.
Cons: Communicate with guests when important things such as elevators are out of service. Stairs should lead to somewhere other than an emergency exit only
Location: Great location, Zoo, Six Flags, Large Mall all with in a 20 minute or less drive.
Nice Hotel however, only one out of four elevators worked for 4 days. Hotel staff made no attempts to communicate this to guests, learned it from repair crew. Tried to use stairs rather than elevator however stairs did not lead to lobby only to an emergency exit that would alarm if you opened the door!
