Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel

All was quite nice - only one thing - bottom sheets should cover entire mattress. Feet need it too!

I was a little disappointed when I first checked in to find out that the room I had reserved online was *not* the room that I was assigned. Although, the room was comfortable and clean, we unfortunately had some noisy neighbors and housekeeping knocked on the door before 9 am. Other than that, the location was great for our visit the Basketball Hall of Fame, and the continental breakfast at Picks was very good.

This is the second time I"ve stayed here. The hotel is conveniently located off I-91 in downtown Springfield. Not a lot of activity in the area, although dining, museums and other venues are within walking distance. The hotel itself is contemporary, the staff is efficient. The rooms are spacious enough and clean. Other amenities include an office/computer center, pool and health club, although I didn't make use of them. Parking is available for an additional charge. I would certainly recommend the Sheraton if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in this region.

The Internet is not compatible with Safari. For iPad and iPhone users this is a huge problem. There are other browsers but they still use a Safari platform which causes the problem

As usual the Sheraton is consistent, clean, comfortable and my first choice every time!

I stayed in Marriott in October and just wanted to see if the Sheraton was just as nice. Didn't measure up to Marriott, but was alright for the price. No refrigeration and microwave in the room. The room had a tiny bit of a smell when I first entered. Had to called several times to get the room cleaned on January 1 before 12:30 p.m. Lots of noise could be heard the night of December 31st. Last, the fitness center was being renovated. Good things: brunch price was good, room size was fine, and bed was comfortable.
