Nice and clean and huge hotel.

The staff was extremely nice and helpfully even when we came in late. The rooms are very nice and clean. The only problem is that they charge 2.75 for a cup of coffee when it should be free in the lobby. Why not have free coffee and Danish for people that are in a hurry? We had to wait and pay for coffee and others were in a hurry as well but we all had to wait to pay. It would be a nice benefit for those in a hurry. And just want coffee or something quick to eat on the way out.

Nice hotel with the couple good restaurants. Food was tasty. We enjoyed our breakfast a lot. Omelette was delicious. If you are in Springfield area - that's the best place to stay

Staff was not all that helpful. Needed a roll-away bed & had to request for it twice. Then had to request for extra pillow & blanket to go w/it but never got them. Didn't even know there was a restaurant & bar in the hotel- no clear signs. Also, was not told that the 2nd floor connected to a mall of stores & restaurants- found out by someone who stayed there before. Asked about a place to eat & was directed to a take-out sandwich shop across street. Garage was difficult to navigate & no help was offered by the attendant until we yelled from car window for assistance. The hotel is an open floor concept & noise from lobby carries all the way up- we were on the 11th floor. Furniture old- missing veneer off dresser, blow dryer stuffed in handicap rail so painting chipping off wall. Lousy water pressure on 11th floor.

The hotel staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself was dated but clean.

Location: We went to Theodore's Booze Blues & BBQ for dinner and Mardi Gras afterwords, both within walking distance.
Pleasant experience. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

Good spot in Springfield

Springfield doesn't have much to offer but the Sheraton was nice. Parking on site, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. Overall a good experience.

Bar, restaurant and room service staff excellent. Low marks on desk staff. Not interested in being very helpful when checking in (no interest in answering questions, being welcoming, etc) even though no one was waiting to check in or ask questions.

The room was nice and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. We had two issues. We were coming in for my father's funeral; we did not want to go to the room; but we did want to tell them were here. The front desk wouldn't take our name. They told me that if I was going to be later than midnight, I would need to call. I thought this unaccommodating. When we got back to the hotel, late that night, there were no more parking tokens available in the parking garage. The parking attendants told me one thing, the front desk told me another and the next morning when we were trying to leave we could not get out and no one in the garage to help. I had to call the front desk - good thing for cell phones. This hotel definitely needs a new way to charge for parking. I learned, from my discussions with the front desk, that this has happened before.
