TownePlace Suites by Marriott Springfield

We were very impressed with our hotel for the cost. We stayed in a suite and it was more like an efficiency apartment rather than a hotel room. We had two separate rooms with queen beds; very comfortable and clean. In the living area there was a sofa sleeper and a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, disposal, coffee pot AND any dishes you would need. In addition, we got a roll away bed which still allowed us room to move around the area. In addition to the quality of the room, all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Most of the shuttle drivers provided lots of recommendations and visiting suggestions. My only negative is they only had one shuttle (a van for 6 riders) which at peak times was busy requiring longer wait times. The hotel is also located close to a shopping area which allowed us to purchase snack foods small meals to take with us when we visited Washington to help reduce the meal cost. We were very impressed and would stay here again.

I liked that there were two separate bed rooms. My husband and I have adult children. A daughter and son. Most of the places I looked on line were 1 king bed and a pull out sofa bed. I don't feel that my husband or myself should have to sleep on a sofa bed while spending that kind of money for a room.

Our overall experience was pleasurable, however the walls were paper-thin and my boyfriend and I could hear every move from the guest in the next room.

Nice, clean and comfortable. I was nicely greeted by the staff at my arrival. Great service.

Very nice hotel. I am definitely going back if ever in the area again. The need was sooooo comfortable by itself was worth the price. The room was very nice and had an entire kitchenette which was awesome.

Overall it was ok nice and clean it was what I was expecting in the hotel

This was a good location for visiting nearby family, and we found our two-room suite quite comfortable. Breakfast was a bit limited, and I wish the fitness room was in slightly better shape, but overall we were very comfortable.
