“Nice lobby/restaurant, but beds were awful”

Inside of the hotel is beautiful, very clean and pool was well kept. The beds were hard and had a dip in the middle. We did not sleep well the two nights we were there. Rooms were smallish and the doors were very scarred - and old light switches in rooms.

“A nice hotel”

i while attending the Skepticon 4 conference I stayed the weekend at this hotel. All I can say is good people that run a very good hotel.

There is bar just down the road that is named "Big Whiskey" the food was good and the prices fair.

“Great location”

The hotel was within walking distance to historic Walnut Street and the Convention Center venues. Great place to stay.

“Over priced”

Hotel was nice but over priced. Our key cards kept not working so I would have to go to the desk to have them swiped (set up) again.

“Great staff”

My wife had a root canal earlier in the day and they allowed her to check in eary and even offered her some soft food for lunch to get by. Wonderful service on their part

“Spectacular customer service”

ALL service personnel are extremely well trained. Everyone, from front desk, dining room staff, bar tenders, bell hops, catering department went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The dining room selection at certain hours is somewhat limited, but overall a great hotel to stay for an extended period (five nights in our case). Very convenient to center of town, expressways, and Missouri State University.

“Nice hotel”

When the only thing you can find to complain about is that they didn't put a note pad and pen in the room then I think it would count as a nice hotel. I will stay here again when I'm in Springfield.

“Need to improve customer service/room service.”

Nice location, close to MSU but the hotel is not very sound proof. Late night guests can be heard, waking you up at 1:00 - 2:00 AM. Room service was not very good at attention to detail.
