“Great hotel for the price”

We were a little concerned due to previous rating comments but our experience was very favorable. The beds were very comfortable, the service friendly and helpful, and location perfect for our family reunion. The price made it very affordable and we would definitely stay there again on our next visit.

“A good, welcoming place to stay for families.”

Accomodations were adequate and timely. Staff was pleasant and cooperative in solving some minor room issues.

“Just ok”

Just ok. I was very worried that my credit card was charged prior to our visit, however my worries did not expand.

“You get what you pay for.”

At first when I checked in the receptionist couldn't find my reservation. Luckily I had printed out the confirmation so she gave me a room then asked for my card so she could pay for it. I explained to her that the room had already been charged when I booked it online and she said oh no that was just an approval. We ended up paying for the room in cash and later I looked at my bank account online and saw it had been charged already went and talked to the owners who were very helpful and resolved the situation. Overall the hotel was a decent place to stay especially when you've been traveling for almost a week straight. However we asked for a non smoking room in which we received but it was literally 2 doors down from a smoking room. The smoke carried down to our room and we had to turn the AC on high to clear the smell out. Other than these 2 problems our stay was rather enjoyable but you get what you pay for. It is a good hotel to stay in for a short amount of time but I wouldn't recommend you staying much longer than a couple of days. They also need a better receptionist who knows what's going on.

“Just another place to stay”

Comfortable but very plain room. It is very nice to have a few goodies before leaving in the morning, and having a Cracker Barrell next door is a plus.

“review”

It was fine for a one night stay but if I needed to stay more than that I would not stay here.

“Not a friendly or welcoming place”

I called prior to making reservation & was told dogs are allowed. The next day the manager told me that no dogs were allowed. I explained that I had checked prior to booking the hotel and he said that my dog had to leave. The woman day manager at the front desk was very unfriendly and would not smile for any reason and seemed like any request was an imposition on her. The first day when we returned from breakfast we found the house keeper, her sister, mother and small son setting in our room. This was quite a surprise to us, not to mention that there was no room for us to be in the room with that many people. It did not make us feel very secure that so many people had access to our belongings. The room was a nonsmoking room but it has a very strong cigarett smell that the manager hinted that our imagination.
