“good place”

Was a good hotel, not the best......

“Stay here when skiing at Holiday Valley, much cheaper than resort and nice hotel!!”

I did not expect much before getting there. I thought, since the price was low, all we would get would be a so-so bed to crash after skiing. However, I was really impressed. The hotel is about 7 or so years old but everything is still in almost new shape. The room was a little small but that did not bother us. The room was clean, beds were good, bathroom nice with good shower head and hot hot water. Also, the FREE Wifi worked great! I hve stayed in luxury hotels where Wifi was not free! The whole place was nicely heated, even the public areas, so no shivering while eating the breakfast. Yes, the complimentary breakfast was not just a donut and stale coffee. It was fresh bagels, muffins, toast, cereals and the coffee was decent! Long story short: Was a great place to stay and I would go back there any time. Saved a lot of money compared to the Holiday Valley Ski Resort!!

The Hotel was like new. New carpeting. rooms very clean and they offer a continental breakfast that was fine.

“Great place for local hunters!”

Stayed one night after a long day of hunting, hot shower was great sleeped like a baby - will go back for sure.

“Base Camp for Niagra Fall & Skiing at Happy Valley”

The Hotel is clean and comfortable. Booked a room with 2 double beds. Had the wife & 2 kids and we got in very late due to the snow and everything was ready when we arrived. Very friendly staff at check in. Coffee & Hot Chocolate free all day long was a nice touch. The breakfast was decent with cereals, bagels, muffins. The hotel is located within walking distance to the usual food chains (McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Burgher King etc.. as well as some local eateries. The malls are 2 minutes by car. The Hotel is well situated between Niagra Falls to the north (about 40mins) and Ellicotville for the ski sloops to the south at Happy Valley (about 25mins).

Easy to get to. Clean. Relatively quiet. Close to restaurants and services.

“Efficient Business Travel”

Rooms were small but efficient with queen bed, desk, enclosed closet cabinet, and bathroom. Very clean and extremely well lit, especially over bed. TV was pretty minimal but OK.

“Close To Ski Hills”

It was very clean and nice. A good location, and close to the ski hills and other attractions. Very good for the price.

“Adequate”

This hotel was adequate. The only ice machine and soda machine on first floor near lobby which was very inconvenient. Others in my family had noise issues both from other guests in adjoining rooms and from external traffic sounds. Only hotel in Springville so didn't have a choice and would stay elsewhere if other options.

“Inexpensive place to stay when skiing”

Decent hotel, however overpriced for its class. Cleaning in the hotel is a little lax, snack wrappings laying in the corridor for days, a blood smear close to the handle on the main entry door stayed there during our stay from Saturday to Monday. The mattress was horribly warped and worn out, something you expect in a much cheaper hotel. My back hurt all night and I got up exhausted and grumpy in the morning, not a good start when you want to have a day of skiiing. If you have a room humidifier, bring it. The electric heater creates a dessert athmospere. So dry your nose will bleed. On our second trip there, I remembered taking our humidifier with us and it made a big difference. I would not recommend this hotel because of the bad bed but it is the best value in that area to go skiing.
