Beautiful and serene stay with a romantic pond and easy access to boats that made it perfect for my engagement. All staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. There’s a small store in the main cabin with fresh, local food and firewood. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Planning to come back and stay here every time we visit Vermont!

Relaxing Trip
Have been here a handful of times and it's always great. I love how quiet and peaceful it is, always a great way to relax. Only complaint this time around was I got really bad allergies, has never happened before.

The property was beautiful! I enjoyed walking in the mornings. The only comment I would have is that the king size bed wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. I prefer a softer mattress. I hope to come back!

Cabin by the pond
I booked our stay (family of four) months in advance and was not disappointed. Modest but so cozy! We loved making a wood fire after a long day of skiing and waking up to the beautiful silence with coffee. Bedrooms were dark with the blackout shades and we slept very well. Loved the complimentary DVDs. Pillows were a little bit hard. Service was lovely and thoughtful. I look forward to coming back!

The environment was beautiful and peaceful. We got some snowshoeing in. The property was great for that. It wss akso minutes away from smugglers notch for downhill skiing. We loved the cabin. Very cozy. Got to use the wood stove too, which was fabulous. Would definitely stay again. Nice, chill environment.

Amazing!!! A must visit cabin experience. The ideal place to stay during Covid. Private driveway (that they shoveled for us everyday during the snowstorm!) kitchen, living room, spa bathroom, bedroom, heat + gas fireplace!

Lovely log cabin living
I loved Sterling Ridge - it was a really lovely way to spend some time in the woods! The 2 bdr log cabin was just the right size for our family of four. Everything felt solid and well-chosen without being fancy or fussy; nice furniture, soft towels, everything we needed in kitchen. The wood stove made it very cozy. All the cabins stood apart from another with porches with views towards ponds, streams, etc with nice Adirondack chairs. We skied at Smugglers Notch which is just about 10 minutes away and loved having a home base away from the bustle of the ski resort. Would have loved to use the complementary snowshoes but our stay was too short. Hospitality was lovely - it felt like they'd thought of everything. We will come back - I'm sure it'll be fantastic in all seasons!

Winter getaway
Second time to Sterling Ridge. Took the family to “play in the snow”. Wonderful warm cozy cabin despite real feel temps of -30F. Enjoyed the close proximity to several restaurants, as well as The ski slopes. The staff at the resort were always helpful and created a friendly atmosphere . We will be back.

Wonderful in every way!
We booked this cabin with the hopes of a small weekend getaway. It was so relaxing and the staff...loved the staff. We only really met the desk person (wish I had gotten her name) she was so friendly and informative!!! The cabin has us wanting for nothing...I mean it was impeccably kept and relaxing. Literally could have locked ourselves in and not moved for days!

The Perfect Cabin!
The Field & Stream Dream Cabin is just that.............a perfect wonderful dream. The view is spectacular, bedding was comfortable, the cabin was spotless & the kitchen was amply furnished for us to cook meals comfortably. If you don't feel like cooking, there are fun tasty restaurants just minutes away. We enjoyed the hot tub outside & the amazing HUGE jetted tub inside the master. This was our first visit to Vermont & these Texans can't wait to go back! The staff is phenomenally friendly, location is close to a winery, distillery, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, dog sledding, etc. Nature walks/hikes are right outside your cabin door.

Great place to stay
Gr8 place to stay. Very friendly staff. They have a dog that wanders around. Nice pool and nice pond. Very quiet.
