“Stress Relief”
For the price that we paid, it was great!! The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area and attractions. The pool was fantastic, sparkly clean. Location is smack dab in the middle of everything you could want and/or need. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and family members.
Area recommendations
Where this hotel is situated, you can get to the beach in a matter of minutes. To shopping, anywhere from 2-15 minutes. You are surrounded by all kinds of different things to do. All the major sites and attractions are about 15 minutes north on the very same road. This place is a beautiful laid back beach town.
Getting around
If you want a stress free look at the city, where you dont have to follow a map constantly, take a look at the trolley rides that our offered. You get to see the whole city and get narrations about the cities history. They allow you to get off at all their stops and even let you know when you have to be on the last trolley in order to get back to your starting point. Definitely wear comfortable shoes, because more than likely ,there will be something you will want to get off the trolley to see and you may meet your trolley down the road a piece. You will see most of the tourists and natives walk to everything. There is so much to experience and see.
What to pack
Depending on the season, just pack to be comfortable. It's supposed to be vacation right :) During spring/summer,.... shorts and tank tops, capris, summer dresses and definitely your swim wear. SUNBLOCK is a must! You want to enjoy yourself, not kick yourself. During the colder months,... a hoodie or sweater, some jeans. It definitely gets chilly around the end of the year.
Dining
This place is delicious. It has several restaurants that boast different ethnic cooking. The seafood is prepared with pure awesomeness. Several of these eateries have extremely beautiful views, whether it be of the bay or sitting at the outside tables admiring the architecture of the centuries old buildings. Even if you want a place to just chill out near the hotel, there are several places you can choose from. My daughter found her sushi place right down the road :)
