Not worth the price

Posted Feb 24, 2015
The parking is very crowded. Do not plan on driving anywhere after the attendant gets you into a spot and do not take a pickup truck ! We requested a 2 nd floor room and all that was available was 1 st floor. When we booked the room we were told there was a bunch of little stores on the back side in the historical district, but when we got there they tell us it gets a little noisy because there is a bar in back. Sounded like they were in our bathroom until closing which is 2:00 a.m. !!

Very pleasantly surprised

Pros: Location and modern rooms
This is absolutely the best location in St Augustine and for the price I was expecting to have to compromise on the quality of the hotel - not so! The rooms are small but newly updated with lovely furnishings and a modern feel. If you pay less than $200 for this hotel you are getting great value for money - less than $150 is a bargain you don't want to miss :)

Great location-average room.

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking
Location: Historic St. Augustine shops, restaurants & attractions
Stayed for one night during the holiday season. Room was average, but for the price was fine. I would recommend this hotel to someone wanting to be in the heart of Historic St. Augustine at a budget price.

great location

Pros: location
Location: St. Augustine is a tourist destination. This hotel is walking distance to many fun shops, restaurants, and bars. Stay away from the Tradewinds bar.
Room a little small with tiny bathroom. Carpet not very clean. Good bed.

Nice hotel location.

The hotel itself is situated very nicely with a wonderful view. We have stayed here before and once it became Best Western we hoped for a better experience. The room, carpet, bedding, etc was damp and wet, and there was an odor. The basket of shampoos etc had mold in it! We paid too much for what we got. Won't come here again.
