Great hotel for those on a budget

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Right away, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and sights. Hotel is only 2 blocks away from Trolley tours, which we used to navigate through the historic district for the weekend. Rooms were clean, WiFi was great, complimentary breakfast was great, could not have been happier. Could not beat the price!!

Disappointing experience.

Posted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Unfortunately the things that need to be improved is the size of rooms, bathrooms and common areas but that is limited by the footprint of the hotel.
Location: Many things to do in St Augustine but I thought we were going to e closer.
While it appeared that the hotel had been recently remodeled, it did not make up for the cramped size of the bedroom, and especially the bathroom. I did not like the fact that the sink was located in the room itself. This made it difficult for a person to get ready in the morning without waking up others in the room. It was nice that they had a continental breakfast but, again, the facility was small and cramped and difficult to navigate. The room was clean for the most part except that I noticed a musty smell in the bathroom and a roach came out of the hair drier on our last night.

Acceptable hotel for an overnight stay

Posted Jul 6, 2015
This hotel was close to the attractions of St. Augustine, moderately clean and comfortable. We noticed a very strong musky odor immediately when we walked in, but otherwise the room was fine for an overnight stay. The pillows were very small and not the most comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but mostly clean, I did notice some hairs on the ceiling of the shower and a funny stain on the shower curtain. Not quite worth the premium we paid for 4th of July weekend, but it did the job.

Nice hotel

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: Clean & comfortable
Cons: Larger tub/shower facility
Location: T. Gregory Imports Store was a wonderful find!!!
The hotel was older but updates and cleanliness were good. Staff was very good. Breakfast was more than we expected and included :) The distance into town however was much farther than we expected. It was a GOOD 20 minute walk at a brisk pace!!

Clean and comfortable

Hotel was very nice. Everything was clean and smelled good and made our experience enjoyable. The hotel is easy to find the only downside is that there is very limited parking, not enough for the number of rooms and it is just out of walking distance to downtown def. get a trolley ticket. overall wonderful!!!
