Although a little dated

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Convenient for my trip. Nice staff and a good breakfast facility
Cons: Needs modernising
Location: C
The room was clean and well serviced. Unusual for a two star the pool and other facilities made it a good base.

Location, location, location!

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location - otherwise overall it was adequate. Some took advantage of the pool which seemed very pleasant.
Cons: Breakfast was adequate (probably good compared to normal American motel standards) but I would have preferred a wider range of bread, fruit, meat, etc
Location: St Augustine has a few interesting things to do/see and a bit of history, but only enough to keep you occupied for a couple of days.
Around 25 Brits based ourselves there for a week of target shooting (practice and competition) at the nearby Ancient City Shooting complex. The motel was perfectly located for the range and had a number of eateries very close by.

The worse I have ever been in!

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Nothing, I was looking for a location that was close to where I was doing business at. When I enter the request on your website.
Cons: Your website search criteria should do a better job matching the customer's request. There is no improvement for that dump.
Location: The location sucks. I was 32 miles from where I wanted to be. There was just junk fast food around it and a noisy highway.
This location is on the same category as a road low quality Motel. The room had a musty smell. I don't know if the mattress was the stinky one or if it was the nasty carpet. The sheets has old stains on it, even though, they looked and smelled clean it was not pleasant. The so call continental breakfast was the same sausage and watery eggs every day. One day of bacon would have been nice. Lastly, the toilet was working in slow motion and clogged up all the times. The excuse given was the pressure of the water when a lot of people are using the facilities. After all for an over night stay is okay, I suggest a change a of category to "MOTEL" not "HOTEL" that way people expectations will conform with the quality. I stayed too long through that torture.

Disgusting!

Posted Apr 5, 2015
The place is isolated, dirty, ran down. Had bad experience on another Best Western location, thought I give it a try but this location was even worst than the first one. So filthy. Found spiders in the room and the last day we stayed we found roaches in the room. the staff is very nice and helpful but they need to work on cleanliness. I felt so grossed out I could not sleep. So disappointed. Not this location, but a Best Western was recommended by a coworker and I went to one in Dayton Ohio and that one was really nice and clean. What happened with this Best Western?????

More of a party loud atmosphere, not the family hotel we were looking for.

Good place to stay for the price

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Close by to where we wanted to be. There are a lot of outlet's very close by for shopping. We could walk to several restaurants from the hotel.
Not a bad place to stay, close enough to old town St. Augustine to be able to get there easily. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Walls are thin and could here all noises outside. Breakfast room was convenient but was only opened until 9:30 and they will lock the doors to the room at 9:30...

Cons: Toilet in my unit did not flush properly. There was a strong odour of sewage near the middle stairs.
Average, property is on the tired side but served my purposes. Road access is complicated and at times dangerous.

Great locatuon

Hotel is close to outlet malls and about 30 minutes to a great beach at Anastasia State Park located in the St. Augustine Beach area. An older hotel that has been repainted and added new beds. Clean and comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful. Good free breakfast with a variety of hot foods. Good buy for the money. Safe neighborhood. A Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday are one yo two minutes by car.

Excellent value for the rate

Cons: Mini fridge in each room.
Our room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. They were doing some renovations at the time but we weren't inconvenienced any. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up staying one additional night before our actual reservation and was able to stay in the same room. The only thing we asked for that we didn't get was a mini fridge in the room The lady upon checkin said she'd request one and we never heard about it again. Overall I would definitely stay there again.
