First Visit to St AugustinePosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: It is close to everything! Walking distance to most attractions. Very quiet location. The room was great. Very comfy. The breakfast was amazing.
Cons: Nothing. I can't think of one thing they could change.
Location: We were able to walk to almost every single attraction. It is close to everything yet tucked away so it's quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa De Solana. This was my first stay in a Bed and Breakfast. The staff was very helpful and informative at check in. Our room was adorable. We stayed in the Cielo. I even used the whirlpool bath. Our bed was comfy and we loved our balcony. The inn was very quiet. We did not hear anything from the other guests. It was very peaceful. The breakfast was amazing. We had an amazing veggie omelet one morning and banana stuffed french toast the next. We also enjoyed mimosa and their AMAZING blueberry scones. In the evening they put out wine and cheese. The inn is close to everything. We were able to walk to every single attraction except for the Light House, Jail and Ponce De Leon attractions. It was great because once we parked our car we only needed it one time to visit those 3 attractions. I can't wait to go back!

Pros: comfortable and really good breakfast.
Location: So much to see and do in St. Augustine!
Cute place and excellent breakfast! We got in late, so did most of our exploring the next day.

Really nice room with beautiful comfortable bed. Great bath tub. Only negative part was parking that was quite far and wasn't too much fun walking on the sun there with luggage.

Great Location and food- shame about the parking.Posted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel in a very nice location. Free cheese and wine in the afternoon was an unexpected bonus and the breakfast was superb - up to UK standard! Only downside was the parking which is a 10 minute walk away.

Beautiful Hotel, Great location, almost perfectPosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Beautiful Hotel, magnificent room, (montejurra room). Perfect location for the historic district. Our first time in St. Augustine , what an amazing city. Breakfast is adequate, not spectacular, don't stay at Casa for the food, Jeff makes great scones, rest of food is ok. I would definitely stay again, and know that breakfast is not going to be the focus. King Bed and Roman Jacuzzi tub were the best ever. Staff very friendly. We will be back.

Great Location, friendly staffPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Comfort & quiet rooms, great prepared breakfast, lovely courtyard.
Our stay was outstanding. The location is yet to be beat-right on the carriage & tour route, close to restaurants & walkable to most everywhere in the old city. Our room in the original bldg had a balcony & we spent a lot of time on it! Bed was very comfortable. Jacuzzi was a plus! Staff was friendly & very helpful-anticipating our needs. Continental b'fast items, plus a wonderfully prepared breakfast which was a nice surprise.I will recommend to friends & we hope to return again!

a night in St. AugustinePosted Mar 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
it was an interesting place to visit, given the age of the building. Our room was small, and the bath/shower was installed in one corner (obviously necessary for renovation). There was no ventilation, so the shower really heated up the room. A building of this age can only measure up to a degree, and it was fun to be there. I would not choose it as particularly comfortable or accessible (steep, narrow stairway), The breakfast was pretty awful—a Super 8 would have provided much better waffles! All in all, it was an interesting, one-ngiht experience, but would not stay there again. For the money, there are lots of alternatives.
