I just got back from St Augustine Beach after staying 2 nights at the Castillo Real hotel. From the moment I drove up I was thrilled to see how the outside and the inside of the hotel surpassed the pictures shown online. The lobby (especially the ceiling) was gorgeous and the room was both beautiful and comfortable. The staff was gracious, accommodating and helpful. I will definitely stay there again. I didn't try the restaurant. I recommend Café 11 across the street and ZaBa's south of the hotel for a quick, inexpensive breakfast.

"Nice rooms..close to attractions..great rates..."
Booking..check in ..very easy..prepaid with Expedia..room was good sized and a nice space to spend time in. Breakfast was decent..about normal.1/2 mile walk to downtown but many restaurants and attractions nearby including lighthouse and park. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again. St Augustine is one of my favorite spots and this was a great stay.

Our room had a weird smell when we enetered; but was easily solved with febreeze spray. The lady who checked me in didnt have the best personaility but evetyone else seemed great! Loved that the outlets were literally 2 min away. Breakfast not that great but with other surrounding spots easy to grab and go. 15 minutes from the historic downtown which wasn't a bad drive at all. Would definitely stay again. Quiet and served it's purpose for what we used it for.

I booked this motel for a quick trip to FL and we were going to be stopping at the St. Augustine's lighthouse for a ghost tour but the motels in St. Augustine were too expensive. I didn't know what we would find but to our surprise this motel was very nice. The room was clean, the continental breadfast was more like a full breakfast, the staff was nice, and the atmosphere was really great. Our second floor room turned out to be looking out over the pool and St. John's river and the sunset was gorgeous! We would recommend this motel to others.
