I hope was a 0 star mode, a motel 6 is way better than this place , What a horrible experience, I paid $250 for a room , when I get there I got charged $150 " deposit" $20 parking fee, when I go up to my room door won't open , take 20 min to got change to other room , no microwave in room , mini fridge won't work, no coffee maker in room and to make worst in the morning toilet won't flush , breakfast sucks , definitely no a hilton quality hotel and definitely not a $250 room value Really bad service and experience, I will never Stay here again

Property being sold and it’s a mess. Breakfast bar is full of boxes and large boxes as well as the entry way. End of the halls were filled with curtains and other room remnants just piled up. Staff was doing some in house fighting.

I was lied to at the front desk. I was interrogated about my service dog. To the extent of having to explain my medical conditions. I was lied to buy “Susan“… I don’t believe that was her name whatsoever. I was accused of not reading through the entirety of the contract for this day, And yelled at for not initially a section of the contract that was never highlighted by their employee / General manager, who checked me in. I will never go back to this residence and express anybody reading this to change your plans. We had an entire family outing with more than six rooms booked, only two of them actually had locks to the door.

The place was under renovation. our room had damage to some items which we took pictures of but was a minor issue. room did have an odd odor but minor. no breakfast due to renovation and lots of cosmetic issues. check-in was long also due to renovation. was a good location.

Horrible. The room was supposed to be an accesible room, was provided a random room late which was filty, on the 2nd floor. The phone did not work and was told to use our cell phone. The attitude of the personnel was atrocious. The restroom was disgusting. There was a $16 parking fee. At no later than 7am there wasba knock at the door and a paper undernearh the room to check out. Check in was after 4PM. The room was very cold and pretty much had ro beg at the counter for more linens ( which you had to personnaly go get since there was no phone).

The worst hotel
Super dirty room, filthy sheets, terrible staff, this hotel looks like a roadside hotel. they charged $416 per night, an abuse. I have never felt so robbed in my life.

The details provided for the property in Expedia listing is wrong and misleading. There is no restaurant, bar or paid breakfast available on the property. I had made the decision to book based on these and found these to be totally wrong. The staff however were very helpful and also provided additional rollaway bed. There was no house keeping service provided in the room. The room also does not have microwave or dressers. The hotel though is at a very convenient location.

We have stayed here before and will definitely be back. Very clean and comfortable. Staff members were very helpful and accommodating. Common areas need a bit of sprucing up, but it looks like that is about to begin after the holidays.

Thank goodness it was a short stay...
Book this hotel for a family vacation to St Augustine. Location was superb with great walkability to historic downtown. Unfortunately that's where the good things ended. The hotel is under a massive renovation so a lot of the amenities that were listed were not available such as breakfast,bar,etc. As we were checking in It was discovered that there was a $15 parking surcharge. There's only one person in the lobby to check you in This caused a massive line that took close to 40 minutes and just kept growing as I was waiting. The staff for overwhelmed and as such we're very grumpy and combative. The room I had booked as well as others in front of me in line we're not available so there was constant shifting around and accommodations having to be made. It felt like you were given whatever they had available instead of what you had actually booked. During my lengthy check-in process I also heard the staff note that they were completely overbooked for that day. The room that I got was very minimal and it was apparent that there was furniture missing from the photos that were online. I would avoid this place if at all possible for any longer stay than a night.

The property is currently under renovations so there is no restaurant. The parts of the hotel that are renovated are nice. The location is great, just minutes from the old town. Overall the stay was great and I think it will be even better once renovations are complete.

The hotel was in a good location close to the old city but in any other place at any other time this hotel would sell for a third of the price. We were not made aware through Expedia that this property was undergoing renovation. The front desk was just that a desk and we had to have a janitor help find us a receptionist. The lobby was full of mattresses, boxes and furniture as part of the renovation. The rooms in our corridor all had big scratches on the doors. A terrible first impression for a $300 per night hotel room.

The villa has a magnificent location for those who like to get to know and walk the city, but in reference to the customer service, I did not receive the best. In reference to the property, it can be said that it is under repair and did not comply with all the services offered at the time of purchase. make the reservation as this caused inconvenience as there was no access to a breakfast as previously reported

Staff was very friendly but the hotel is in rough shape. The room was not as pictured online. Very run down and extremely overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Breakfast/bar area had construction items and extra AC units and mattresses just sitting out. If I had any idea how poor condition the hotel was, I would not have stayed here

Other than the location of this hotel, it was a terrible experience. The woman working the front desk seemed annoyed that we were checking in. We had to make the first greeting. They did not have the type of room we had reserved. Hotel is being renovated, but they did not say that the room was not completely done. Photos attached of plastic and tape over the fire alarm splash paint all over the chair. It smelled terribly if paint.

The AC didn’t work, wouldn’t get cold. The TV only worked a portion of the time. Check-in wasn’t good and staff wasn’t friendly. Construction was started early in the morning. Hotel wasn’t very clean. The location was great as we could walk downtown easily.

Front desk staff should quit the service industry. She was horribly rude and huffed and puffed as if we were an inconvenience to her day. Not welcoming at all. Otherwise our room was clean and quiet. You could tell it was newly renovated. Front lobby was filled with renovation equipment and random mattresses. Location of this hotel was the best part. Most likely will not go back.

Don’t waste your money
Terrible service at this hotel and the facility is tired and outdated. A simple coat of paint and new carpet would go a long way. Waited in the lobby 30 minutes to check in. The one person working in the lobby said he wasn’t capable of checking people in and we would have to wait for the one employee who could do it to come back downstairs. He refused to call her and let her know guests were waiting. Later, we realized there was no toilet paper in our bathroom. We called the front desk and they assured us they would deliver it while we were out for dinner that evening. They never did. At least there was Kleenex in the tissue dispenser. Overall, this is a comically outdated facility with the worst service we’ve experienced at a hotel in over a decade.

I spent close to $400.00 on a one night stay here. The staff was polite and made a couple accommodations for my wife and I which was in contrast to some of the reviews here. But it is being renovated. Definitely wasn’t expecting to wake up to the sound of hammers and drills at 0830 on a Sunday yet that’s what happened. The hotel room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in some time. There was dirt and debris on the carpet. There was even more dirt in the corners of the room. There were stains on the curtains and on the walls. Overall, staff was polite but I wouldn’t come back until renovations are done. The location to downtown was convenient but I’d spend the extra cash for cleanliness and go to the Hilton or Best Western.

I was very disappointed. The hotel is under construction. The restaurant was closed and filled floor to ceiling with boxes. Construction debris was everywhere. The room was large and clean but has almost no furniture except the bed, 2 bedside tables, and a TV. The closet had no rod to hang clothes. My experience makes me feel that Expedia ratings are unreliable.

Disappointing Anniversary Stay
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary from Nov. 27-30th, 2023.This place was going through renovations during our stay and they charge you $15.00 a day for parking at check out time. If we had known these 2 facts beforehand, we would NEVER have stayed here. The amenities were lackluster, the staff was minimally cordial but totally indifferent and we had no means to warm the room which was chilly and uncomfortable for end of November. The AC worked, but not the heat. No hangers, no rods to hang items anywhere including the bathroom for towels, missing furniture with nowhere to sit except the bed and an office chair, although they did enter the room while we were gone and supplied a chair our second day in even though we hung the "do not disturb" sign which was aggravating because we had no drawers or anything at all to safely stash our belongings. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel.

Beware! This hotel failed to disclose that the place is under construction. It was apparent in the front lobby and even worse in the room. The room had a hole in the wall and wires coming out of it. All bare walls except for metal brackets where things once hung. Dust was so thickly caked on the windowsill and previous people drew in it. Water slowly drained from the sink. It was so disgusting. There was no furniture in the room other than a bed, a table and a tv. The place echoed. They had no business putting guests in these rooms. The only good thing was that they refunded my money for the second night and I found a much more comfortable place to stay.
