Isle Ocean Front Hotel St. Augustine Fl.

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Nice location, right on the beach, though most of the rooms don't have any view of the beach. This section of the beach is very pretty with nice dunes
Cons: Room condition, NOISY, the room door does not have a seal so all of the noise from the hall comes into the room and vice versa.
Location: The location in on the beach is not far from St. Augustine, restaurants, etc.
I booked a one night stay. Upon checking in I learned that gets you a ground floor room reserved for pets, though I did not request a room for pets. The room was ok, but old. Definitely a low to low mid range room and building. The reason for the low scores was the noisy building. The rooms door does not seal shut so you hear everything that goes on outside in the noisy hallway at all hours of the day or night. Also, the other side of the room faced the parking lot so people standing outside of the room talking brought all of there noise through the single pane windows.

Okay for the price

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Oceanfront. Okay price. Courteous front DSL staff. Close driving distance to St. Augustine.
Cons: Renovate rooms -- beds, bathroom, carpet, very old small tv.
Location: Relaxing on the beach. Night out to St. Augustine -- St. George pedestrian mall, Castillo de San Marcos, Flagler College, Oldest House.
Location is good; right on the beach (oceanfront). Property is well used. Beds, bathroom, and furniture well worn. Close drive to St. Augustine St. George Street area, Flagler College, Lightener Museum area, and Castillo de San Marcos. Friendly and pleasant front desk staff.

Decent place!

We were there for an event in the ballroom and quick stay over. The quality for the price was a great value. Our TV wasn't working but we weren't there long enough to ask for it to be fixed. Staff was very friendly. Pool and beach were nice.

Dirty hotel great beach

Thank goodness for great weather and a perfect beach. The hotel was dingy and dirty. Smelly room with grimey towels. Front desk gal was great.
