Odd quiet condo hotel with no InternetPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Quiet. Nice pool. Full kitchen.
Cons: Service! Internet. Staff on hand. Stains in carpet need to be cleaned.
Location: Property is about 15 minutes from historic St. Augustine and 10 minutes to outlet shops. Also World Golf Village is about 7 minutes away.
We had stayed at Laterra several times years ago and while its still a nice property, it is not the same. Units do show wear and tear but ours was clean. Check in was weird with unprofessionals telling us not to swing from the curtains! There's no Internet service either! An odd disclaimer on the check in paperwork said we could go to McDonalds to get wifi. Guards at the gate were rude and gave us the second degree even when we showed our check in keys and paperwork. Also there's no tv in the bedroom. The plusses: full kitchen, very quiet room and great pool (although the hot tub was lukewarm at best and pool is not heated).

Great pool!Posted Jul 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Tucked in a high end gated golf course neighborhood, it was quiet and clean! The pool was always empty and the permanent residents were very nice in pointing out all that St. Augustine had to offer! Really enjoyed the stay!

Very relaxing hotel.Posted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: The comfort
Cons: A bigger TV
Location: Golf courses and outlet shopping
We showed up to this beautiful hotel. It has a Spanish look to the hotel which was great. The room was big and comforting. The spa on the lower floor was also very nice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay off the beaten path and relax.

Excellent location for golfersPosted Jul 18, 2013
Cons: Care and maintenance of the room. Ensure advertised inventory is indeed in the room.
Location: Golfing was awesome; not at all crowded in June. Book on-line for savings. World Golf Hall of Fame is not to be missed. Good route into St Augustine
Good: Adjacent to 8th green on The King and The Bear; close to clubhouse, and good proximity to World of Golf. Not much by way of restaurants in immediate area, but some gems. Easy route into St Augustine and to Premium Outlet Mall. Bad: Beware if you not book the main condo suite (ie. just the "hotel room" style), plan to eat out, even breakfast. There were NO coffee cups, and some glasses/plates etc were missing. Drainage in the shower was nearly non-existent and caused a bad sewer smell in the room. One pillow had no pillowcase. Had to interrupt the planned day to go to the offsite office to try and rectify problems with little success. No daily service on-site available.

golfers dream locationPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
For any golfer on a budget this is an ideal location, the condo style rooms are small and the ac is loud. The units are located 1 mile off I-95 and not far from the coast in a beautiful golf community called the King and Bear. Since this was a condo we did not have any services provided. The units were small but the layout was studio style single room with bed and small kitchen. It is a great spot if your in town on a budget and don't mind cooking and cleaning verses eating out. I jumped on the deal Hotels.com had for $87 a night. Thanks for a great deal!

Very nicePosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a very nice condo at a great golf community. Family loved it. Pool was nice. Not to near much what you need is close. Would stay again.

Hidden GemPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay at Laterra was very good indeed. The location was inside a gated community and the grounds were fantastic. There is no service whatsoever so that is not possible to rate, but I knew this going in. This is not a place to go if you are fond of room service, but if you like to plan ahead and do things for yourself it's wonderful. The room was big, clean, and the view off the balcony was fantastic, overlooking beautiful grounds and a large pool. The only thing lacking, the TV was a small 19 inch tube style. If you want to relax and take in a movie or show, it's not going to happen. All in all a great experience for the money. It is a little hard to locate, on our trip the guard at the gate was new and could not tell us exactly how to find the building, and it is a VERY large community. A kind resident that saw me driving around was kind enough to help us find our way.

Nice place but very out of the way locationPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although the condos were nicely decorated I was very unsatisfied with the service and the location.
