Not much beyond low price. Hotel needs exterior upgrade
Jan 15, 2014 by Kelly
Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are glad you found our price during your stay to be a good value. Yes, we do need some upgrading on the exterior but we are focusing on the rooms now as funds permit. We hope you consider us as a lodging option next time you visit the beautiful St. Augustine area.

My room was dirty. There was something smudged all over the wall next to one of the beds. The bathroom was dirty. The air vents were covered in black dust. The towels were threadbare and stringy so much they hardly covered what they needed to cover. Would not stay here again.

Very nice, short driving distance to town!Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Very clean, comfortable beds, cable, mini fridge in room, coffee maker in room
Cons: Parking lot on the side of hotel looked pretty worn down, could be repaved.
Location: St.Augustine Light house, Fort Matanzas, many beaches within a half hour of the hotel, Ripley's Believe it or not museum (the very first Ripley's)
We got in a little later than expected, but called ahead for late check-in, which was really convenient. Everything was very clean and the bed was so super comfortable, we didn't want to leave in the morning! haha The hotel was right off of the road, so you can hear a decent amount of traffic, but it also made it really convenient to get where we needed to be. Easy access to St.Augustine, beaches, and the Fort Matanzas National monument! We had plans already, but they had a ton of tourist information in the hotel lobby, so we got to pack in a full day! We enjoyed our stay. :)
