Pros: The view
Location: Overlooking the beach and the Atlantic
Super room, wonderful view over the ocean, friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again if we're in St Augustine's.

A great, little ocean front hotel. Location is ideal. Quick trip to St. Augustine. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to offer services. They have a large cage with 4 birds that sing all day. Not a luxury hotel, but everything is very nice, comfortable, and perfect for a beach house. Just over the causeway is the Kingfisher Grill with good-enough food and right on the water for a classic beach experience. I liked it.

I was a little nervous when booking this hotel, My family has only stayed at National Chain Hotels. It turned out that I was very happy with my decision, this is a great hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and recently remodeled. The location is great dirrectly on the beach and the area around the hotel is newly redeveloped. You can take a short walk to a new shopping area that has a Publix supermarket, a couple of resturaunts, a frozen yogurt place and a beach shop. Overall a great experience

Pros: The staff and the view. Car access to the beach at the hotel.
Cons: No central air conditioning but the A/C it did have did the job. Construction being done on the next door motel but didn't interfere just unsightly.
Location: Awesome, beautiful, peaceful
Nice location, just 5 miles from St. Augustine beach but we stayed at Vilano beach. Every room had an ocean view with a balcony. The staff was very friendly. They even had chairs and umbrellas you could use free of charge for the beach. We would definitely stay there again!!

Wasn't sure because it's a Pet Friendly Hotel. Was I ever shocked. This hotel was my favorite of all times. It was not only pet friendly but the staff was people friendly and they are animal lovers like myself. They had birds and cats and the place was immaculate. 10 Stars for this outstanding place on Vilano Beach in St. Augustine, FL
