“Good hotel for the price.”

The only complaint I had was the pillow was like a rock - take your own pillow and its fine. The room was very clean and the front desk was friendly while checking in. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

“Terrible place.”

I was so disappointed with this hotel. There was a spot of blood on my sheet and the bottom sheet was torn. The bed was very uncomfortable and the towels were so thin you could see your hand through the washcloth. You should take this one off your list.

“Nice stay”

We were looking for a place just to spend the night in and we were surprised to find a nice place and a convenient location for sight seeing. It is close to 1st stop of the Red Train. The room was clean and well maintain by the housekeeping, the personal was very helpful and accommodating. Thank You for the hassle free stay!

Try to stay anywhere on San Marco, it is the main street there, were the most attractions are.

“Cheap means cheap”

Don't be fooled by the pics - this hotel looks better from outside then it's inside. Even though you could call the rooms clean (i.e. it does have clean sheets), it's a very run down cleanliness - old stains on the carpet, old furniture. If you would like to stop in the "effeciency/ w kitchenette - bring everything with you - there was not a single spoon/plane/pan... It's far from the center of St Augustine - you would not be able to walk to all the fun, even though it's only 10 min drive, finding parking on the narrow historic streets of the center could be hard. The pool is right be a rather busy street - never saw anybody swimming there. Also I would probably be careful around some of the people that stayed in other rooms. The check-out (I paid for 1 night we stayed there through Expedia) was painless, but we will not come back.

“"Not Impressed"”

This hotel is in need of upgrading. Rooms need painting, new carpet, furniture, and bedding. Bathroom has some new items and was clean. We found the bedspread to be dirty and stained. This hotel will not be on my return list.

Area recommendations

St. Augustine is the oldest city in Florida. The historical district is difinitely a must see. This is a great place for the entire family to see and learn must of our history. Wonderful beach area shopping and nightlfe.

“Satisfied”

I was with family on a budget. This was a great deal but not within walking distance to the historic area. Shuttle service was available, though, through certain trolley businesses. That was a plus so we didn't have to drive much. Breakfast was cereal, small bagels and cinnamon rolls with juice and weak coffee. Pool looked nice.

“Decent for the price”

It was a decent hotel for the price. Just a very short drive to access the Trolleys and the Tourist Center and the Public Garage. A nice thing about where this Hotel was QUIET was something I enjoyed.
