Stayed here for two nights whilst touring the southern states and found it to be a great little base to explore St Augustine. Being family owned and managed ensures that the rooms and grounds are well maintained and spotlessly clean. We found that the staff were welcoming and have good knowledge of the local area. Unlike many chain hotels they are able to offer that personal touch. Although small by American standards our room was well equipped with comfortable bed and flat screen TV etc and as I said spotlessly clean. The Cosy inn is well located to explore the charming town of St Augustine being a short drive or pleasant walk into the historic centre. Added to its exceptional value for money I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Jaybirds! Very clean and comfortable.
We had a car and drove to the Fort to park for a maximum of 4 hours for $6 and walked everywhere from there in the old city. Lunch at Mojos was excellent, also went to Ned's and Gas.
We walked the amazing beaches and were there for the "light up"...also amazing.
St. Augustine has not lost its charm and we will be back...will stay at Jaybirds for sure!
