Hotel was OK, but certainly nothing special

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Check in process was smooth and breakfast though fairly plain, was good.
Cons: I was put in a handicap room, though not requested. It was small and the bed was of pretty poor quality. Don't put a non-handicapped person in their
Location: Location was hard to get to but in an area that was close to many eating and shopping opportunities.
OK. That is about all I can say. Not terrible and certainly not great.

Adequate for the price.

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: It was quiet, despite the din of a full motel.
Cons: BEDS! BETTER MATTRESSES! REMOVE THE RIFF-RAFF FROM THE LOBBY!
My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay to attend a performance at the Paramount Theatre. The price was decent ($66.00), but I didn't expect much. The room was clean and access was good. The bed was horrific. Neither one of us got a good night's sleep. So, you get what you pay for. Staff was cordial and helpful. The place was completely full, which made parking extremely difficult. Lots of trucks in the parking lot, and lots of truckers of dubious distinction (and foulish language) hanging around the lobby most of the time. The room was mostly quiet, with good room-to-room sound insulation. Won't stay here again unless completely desperate, or in the mood for a motel with "character."

Window locks broke, room wasn't cleaned after first day. I had to go to front desk for clean towels and coffee.our sheets had burn holes.we where in a non smoking room.breakfast not good. Hotel had a funny smell. Waterslide area not clean water looked dirty.tub had bugs.carpet had stains.dog barking constently non stop across the hall. This is the first time I have been any where this bad.I have stayed at Days Inn before but this only is horrible. Not enough parking. They had large semis take over the parking lot.

Yuck

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Pool was ok, indoor water slide was good, kid pool with really warm water and very shallow good. So it was a welcomed surprise after our room.
Cons: Inspect what you expect.
Granted, I did not see "smoking" in the room description (mainly because I did not realize there were still smoking rooms in national chains). That being noted, staff stated "there's nothing I can do, you booked on Expedia". There were cigarette burns in the carpet, bed spread, blanket, and tub. The stink, I expected with a smoking room burns, not so much. When I brought it to the staff's attention "ok" was all I got. Walls are paper thin, because I could hear my neighbors' TV until 3 am. Not just the noise, it sounded like I was in the room. "That's the building, not much I can do about that" was the response. Never will I stay here again, I doubt I will ever stay at a Days Inn again.

Conveniently located in the downtown area.

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Convenient to the high school where I had to work the next day. It was quiet. Our room was on the ground floor which was good for us as seniors.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit skimpy!
Location: See above
Very helpful check-in clerk , helped us find the movies playing, directions to restaurant. Also kindly came to our room at 10 p.m., when we could not get a lamp to turn on, helped us move the desk so the lamp could be plugged in!

Not good

Posted Feb 16, 2015
I was given a non smoking room but it had a strong smoke smell. It was obviously a smoking room at one time. Smoke was coming through the bath vent so I ran the exhaust fan all night to keep smoke from coming in which helped a little. The room still had a smoke smell which I doubt will ever go away. The hotel was full so there were no other rooms to try.

There were people who were just swimming who's kids were terrible and they were not guests of the hotel. Breakfast was messy the attendant didn't clean anything. People were loud till after midnight had to call front desk due to having 2 kids under 5 trying to sleep.
