Great place to be for a relaxing stay on St CroixPosted Mar 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for a great place to stay on St Croix, look no further. This bed and breakfast is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the island. The owner and his staff are great hosts - great breakfast is included as is water and coke in your minifridge. The view is marvellous. However, if you want to explore the island's beaches, you should rent a car, and because of the roads around, you will hear some traffic. But you are rewarded by a marvelous view of the harbor and a very relaxed feel to it.

Carringtons Inn: Look no furtherPosted Feb 28, 2013
Pros: I never slept so well.
Cons: WiFi service was spotty.
Location: Beautiful views, cooling trade winds through my room and the best sleep I've had in many months
Carringtons Inn has the best comforts of home with the conveniences one expects from a fine vacation lodging. The rooms are immaculate with trusted staff who have served there for the last 15+ years. The feeling is of comfort and familiarity. Breakfast is included and delightful with the good cheer of inkeepers who embrace their role. There are only 5 rooms so the setting is intimate and guests enjoy repore with one another. The courtyard pool is beautiful, as is the hilltop view of the ocean. Caribbean colors and constant trade winds make for the most restful experience. The mattresses are very comfortable and the location is close to the island's best dining and shopping. I couldn't be more happy. I will surely book there again.

For a B & B a little expensive but good location. The breakfast sets you up for the day.

Home away from homePosted Nov 14, 2012
Pros: I love the rooms, the views, the location and the staff.
Cons: This question doesn't apply. Love everything about Carringtons.
Location: The location is perfect. Within 5 minutes of downtown Christiansted
Whenever I come to St. Croix, I stay here. If I can't get a room at Carrington's Inn, I will postpone my trip until a room becomes available. This is my home away from home and I think I have stayed here at least 10 times now. I can't get enough of the island breeze, the ocean view and the great breakfasts.

Greatest Carrebean experiencePosted Oct 27, 2012
Pros: Simply charming facility. Linda and Roger are very nice folks.
Location: Ocean view at 3 minutes drive to Christiansted / boardwalk, bars restaurants and ocean activities such as excursions. Great food at and nice people.
Great B&B in the best location at 3 minutes drive from Christiansted. Everything from entertainment to commerces and boardwalk with restaurants and bars is minutes away from this B&B. Our room was meters away from the pool. Terrace has speedy Internet and help yourself laptop and printer ( e.g; great for printing boarding passes for return) also large flat screen, sofa, chair and coffee table to relax by the pool side. Don't miss a dinner at Kendricks ($$# and Angry Nate with live music #$) and day trip to Buckisland with Big Beard Catamaran.

Great hotel for couplesPosted Sep 24, 2012
Pros: It felt like you were a welcome guest in someones very large and nice home.
Roger was truly an amazing host who had thought of everything to make a guest's stay perfect. The room was clean, well appointed with one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever. the common areas were all comfortable and welcoming unlike most hotel common areas. Breakfast was delicious. We are returning soon for another stay and would not stay anywhere else on the island.

Pros: My favorite things about this hotel are the views and the breakfasts.
Cons: I can't think of anything I will change about this hotel.
Location: The location is perfect!
Every time I come to St.Croix I stay at Carrington's. The location is excellent as are the views of downtown C'sted, and the breakfasts are even better. This is my home away from home and I can't wait to get back to my new favorite room.

A very romantic INN!Posted Aug 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Our host Roger is super helpful and nice. We got a room upstairs, facing the ocean. It comes with a cute balcony facing the mountain. I personally favor the view in the balcony better than the ocean view. The color of our room is sky blue. Carringtons Inn provides complimentary drinks (water and coke), tasty breakfast, beach towels, etc. The room is very comfortable. The only problem is that the address for Carringtons Inn is listed wrong on Hotels.com and it took us a while to find the hotel. However, we still highly recommend Carringtons Inn!

Great value, very friendly inn.Posted Aug 12, 2012
Pros: Low-key atmosphere, comfortable room.
Cons: Distance from activities and restaurants.
Location: A slightly older, but nicely maintained property with five rooms and a small swimming pool.
Super nice, low-key way to experience St. Croix. The hosts and other guests were really friendly, and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. The view from our room was gorgeous, and Roger very nicely provides beach towels you can take with you during your day. But be aware that you definitely need to rent a car if you plan to stay here, and definitely visit their website for more information about how to get there before you go. (The address provided by Expedia turned out to be a mailing address.)

Great place for everyonePosted Jul 12, 2012
Pros: Feels like home
Cons: No TV or Wifi in room - but both are in the common area. Not really a big deal!
Location: GREAT views overlooking Christiansted - convenient to everything on the East end of the island.
July 2012 - stayed here for 3 nites. Had never done a B&B before so was a little worried about feeling like we were "invading" someone's home. Never got that feeling - very comfortable setting - thoroughly enjoyed meeting the other travelers staying there - talking around the pool and at breakfast's. It was a little hard to find - signage on the island is virtually non-existant! We paid the extra to get the upgraded room with an awesome view of Christiansted and a wonderful balcony! Definitely worth the upgrade! Roger and Linda were awesome! Food was great, room was very comfortable and clean. Great view! Best place to stay while exploring the East side of the island - home away from home! Would definitely stay here again and again and again!
