Amazing ViewPosted Jun 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The service as very hospitable and the grounds were amazing. Rodger was extremely engaging and generous with his property and conversation. Carringtons Inn is great for couples too.

One of the best bed and breakfasts in the world.Posted May 8, 2014
Pros: Read above comments. It would take too long to say what I liked! I LOVED everything.
Cons: I hope they keep everything the same. There is no way anything can be improved. Perfection.
Location: The Inn is positioned in a great spot. On top of a mountain; but so easy to get to everything you could want. And I mean everything.
This was the most incredible experience. The ENTIRE staff was so nice, fun, professional; and great to be around! Even the "cleaning" staff would make sure they saw you everyday and asked if they could do anything for me! EVERYTHING was clean and fresh the entire time. The bed/bedroom was great, the pool was kept clean everyday; and the views everywhere were magnificent. Everyone was so willing to help with whatever you need. I was there on my own, and the rest of the guests along with the staff made me feel like part of the "family"!!! I have recommended the Carringtons Inn to all my friends and when I was downtown Christiansted, I would even recommend it to people I would meet, especially if they complained about the place they were staying. I will ALWAYS stay at the Carringtons Inn, and so will my friends. One more thing...I NEVER eat breakfast, but I did everyday I was there. The food was INCREDIBLE; honestly, the best breakfast I have ever eaten, and a great variety.

Good ChoicePosted May 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Carringtons Inn delivered everything I expected except the location. From the description I thought it was in Christiansted but it is actually above town on a hillside. It is still convenient to town but you need a car to get there. If you want to walk to the main part of town and the boardwalk you should choose the Company Hotel or the Comanche. However, Carringtons was very nice. The rooms were large and comfortable and clean. The pool was small but nice also. But don't skimp and get one of the two small rooms that don't have a view and hardly have windows. We stayed in the Flamboyant room and think it was the best choice with a great balcony overlooking town. Good luck.

Truly a Home Away from HomePosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The laid-back atmosphere, and the view of the Christiansted harbor.
Cons: Wi-Fi connectivity could certainly be improved. But, this is true for all of St. Croix.
Location: Carringtons Inn is just a few minutes’ drive from downtown Christiansted, and about 15 minutes from the airport.
When traveling, I generally prefer large, modern hotels, while my wife favors B&Bs. For our March 2014 trip to St. Croix, we went with my wife’s leanings. The result: we stayed at Carringtons Inn - and this worked for both of us! Innkeepers Roger and Claudia (and Linda!) are delightful hosts in every way. If you have a question about St. Croix, they’ll have an answer. Breakfast is served every morning, and the rooms are cleaned every day. Based on our one-week stay, Carringtons Inn seems to attract interesting and amiable guests from a variety of places. So, this really WAS a peaceful and relaxing home away from home.

Why look elsewhere?Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Everything! (Including the reliable wifi)
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Unless you want a place on the beach there is no need to look anywhere else. I travel overseas half the year on business and have stayed in all types and conditions of accommodations but Carringtons is on the top of my list. The facilities are so clean and well kept and the location is great. You feel like you are away from it all, but it is just west of Christiansted so shops, cafes, etc. are all very close. The host people are great and they take care of every need (Q-tips in the bathroom, beverages in the refrig, and towels for the pool). The view is great and having the windows open with a soft breeze I slept better than I have in along time. There was no need to use the AC even with the temps in the upper 80s during the day. The breakfast is wonderful with plenty to eat and the kitchen is available if food preparation is desired for lunch or dinner. There are dogs barking in the distance and some road noise from the road below but it all seemed to blend in with the country living that those things never really bothered me.

Pros: The owner and staff, andthe view.
We enjoyed a wonderful time. Roger could not have been nicer or more helpful. Lindia is a gem. the Carrington Inn was like being in the home of a friend. You can not beat the views. Roger and Linda were so kind to my mother-in-law when she arrived a few days after we did. Carrington Inn: Clean , comfortable and friendly. Great breakfast every morning, perfect way to start the day.

Secluded and peacefulPosted Jan 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved our stay there. Our host was amazing and very helpful. The place only has a few rooms and we got to know other people staying there very quickly, making it nice for some friendly hang-out in a common area. Beautiful pool and a view from a balcony. We did not have a car and getting out and in was a little bit of a hassle, renting a car is highly recommended.
