“We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere!”

We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, especially in the evening. The view was beautiful from the balcony and the breeze was very refreshing. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning too. We would like to go back someday.

“As good as promised...”

We can only agree with the other reviews - this B&B is just wonderful: location, view, breakfast, room, cleanliness, hospitality... There is just one more piece of information we would like to share with you concerning public transportation. There are three means of transport: regular taxis, minibuses and regular busses. They all run one block from Carrington's Inn either down to Christiansted or to Frederiksted. Minibuses stop everywhere you want and they are only $2.50 wherever you go. And - they run every 5 minutes or so - very convenient! Regular buses are $2.00, but they don't run that often. You can get a schedule from the tourist info in Christiansted. At night you will have to take a cab to get back to the B&B, though. As public transport is quite good, you might want to consider renting a car only for certain days and not all the time. It might help you save some money...

“"Can't wait to go back"”

This is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast. The scenery is breath taking and the hospitality is excellent. The owners Roger and Claudia are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is the best. If you are looking for a beautiful, serene, clean place to stay while in St. Croix, I highly recommend the Carrington's Inn...... it's paradise. I look forward to staying at Carrington's Inn the next time I am in St. Croix. EYR Brooklyn, NY

“Great Central Location, Views”

While Carrington's Inn may not be on the beach, it is definitely a great place to stay and has excellent views of Christiansted and the ocean. Every morning we had an excellent breakfast to start our day. The location was great, because it offered us easy access to both the east and west sides of the island. The hospitality shown by Roger and Claudia was amazing.

“Wonderful view, breakfast, people.”

This B&B Inn is on a hilltop overlooking the harbor and the principal city of Christiansted. The two front units (Fantasia and ???) are larger and have balconies that look out over the scenery. Well worth the few extra dollars if they are available. In addition to the excellent view, the Inn provides a social meeting place with the congenial owners and very friendly fellow guests. We looked forward to the breakfasts each morning, both for the food and the sociality, as we shared our experiences of yesterday and our plans for the upcoming day. The covered lounge, which is next to the pool in a courtyard, provided a relaxing social gathering place where a cooling breeze blew constantly. The only negative was that not having one of the better rooms also meant no cross breeze to cool the room after the housekeeper turned off the A/C each morning. Thus we returned after a day's activities to a very warm room. A small penalty for a great stay!
