Awful stay. Beach smelled.

Staff not helpful. Accommodations were unacceptable. Beach area smelled from seaweed. Bar not opened by the beach. We only stayed one night and changed resorts the very next day. Food was horrible. Worst vacation experience I have ever had.

Amazing experience well worth the money! The only downfall was it was far from everything, so I recommend a rental car and the beech was covered in seaweed. They were very accomadating!

The staff is very helpful and extremely nice. The island is very pretty and laid back. Beautiful greenery. Definitely rent a car to explore, in the long run you will save money verses taxi service.

Great place for activities and drinks!

Robert is the activities director and he is great. Everyone was very friendly. Our luggage was sent to the wrong island and the staff opened the gift shop do I could get something to change into since I was dressed for cold weather. Don't be in a hurry for anything while you are there!!!!! They function on island time Everywhere including in town.

Pros: Location on the ocean front. Quiet. Very clean.
Cons: Maintenance and furnishings.
Location: Location is remote from most things to do on the island. Hotel offers many activities on or near site. Casino is overrated.
Reserved a "Deluxe" room at higher rate that "standard" . Staff indicated that there was no physical difference. Ours was sparsely furnished. Comfortable king size bed; two wicker uncomfortable chairs with thin cushion, No luggage stands. Lighting very dull with low light "green" bulbs. Overhead fan control broken--high speed only. No vent in bathroom! Maid service was excellent. Food service was average and not up to the inclusive fee. Would not stay there on next visit..

Pros: Visited two weeks before East Coast/Canada resort guests escaping Winter cold scheduled to check in. Facility was not crowded.
Cons: Needed more onsite entertainment
Location: Onsite: miniature golf, golf driving range, snorkeling & scuba diving, kayaking, nature hikes, outdoor chess,pool Casino is approx 150 yds away!
Convenient private beach with onsite non-motorized water sports and casino. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Large, clean beachfront suites. Good food selections.

the staff was great, a little slow to get drinks and refills though. The food was good and lots of it , Bartenders did a great job, Lots to do at resort hikes and other actives would like to have Jeep tours pick up from there and drop off since many don't rent car. Beds are hard and need replaced with pillow top models IE: like the ones HILTON uses. The hotel needs to be updated painting and repairs to outside overall needs lots of little things fixed, adjusting outdoor lighting, remove lights that are out, some that blink ,dusting, fixing trim in lobby, H VAC controls . But both pools really needs attention. Clean upper deck where bird sit all day,

Customer Service Training and Renovation Needeed

Pros: The food wasn't too bad. The front desk manager(a young lady), two other ladies & a gentlemen at the front desk (in the evening) was helpful and nice.
Cons: The items outlined in my experience.
Location: Beach on the property is small and not much to do near by resort. So you would have to travel out 30-45 mins away for some FUN!
I was not pleased with the fact that this resort was not up to date with appearance in the bedrooms. The rooms and dining areas decor seemed very outdated. In addition, thank God I brought my own towels, bath washcloth, and hand towel because the resorts own was extremely old and worn. Lastly, the worst but most important thing that the Divi needs to look into is the customer service in their resort. Every staff I came in contact with from guest services, housekeeping, front desk, cooks, waiters, bartenders, and etc. were not well trained in customer service. Most of the staff were rude, not helpful, and basically seemed like they didn't want to be at work. I will not recommend this resort to anyone visiting St. Croix and I will never return as well.

Needs renovations!

Pros: The all-inclusive was great!
Cons: A change in management would probably be best. The resort is in need of revitalization to be successful in the future.
Location: There is option to do kayaking, snorkeling, and a casino nearby.
My experience was ok with this resort. I think the resort has great potential, however, it needs some work. The resort felt outdated and appeared to need renovations. The food was OK but not great. The resort feels more like a hotel, everything shuts down at 10pm. After 10pm, you have to go across the street to the casino. This resort has a beautiful beach view but the rooms aren't that great. I think a change in management is much needed!
