“Quaint hotel by the sea”

I loved this hotel. OK so its not the Ritz, but lets face it, you're visiting the wrong island if you want the Ritz. The fact that this hotel opens out on to the boardwalk was excellent. 5 meters away from the hotel was the scuba dive boat and shop, the tour boats, the ferries to Protestant Cay. I've never been at a more conveniently located hotel in all my life. The surrounding area is quiet but again if you are looking for a hectic nightlife, then you are on the wrong island. St. Croix is a QUIET place to go holiday. The staff in the Rum Runners restaraunt are the best. Perhaps the most friendliest staff I have ever come across.

“The Caribbean without the Resort”

Think Motel 6, but five feet from the Caribbean.

“Great place and fantastic food”

I have been to St Croix several times and this is the first time I stay at this hotel. I have dined at thier restaurant several times and I have always loved it. I was very satisfied with the hotel, it has a very good wireless connection throughout the facilities. I will use it on my next trip.

“Great value....wonderful people”

Superior Room was very nice and hotel is in a great location for seeing the town. The only downfall was shower water pressure that seemed to have a mind of its own. Very friendly and helpful staff.

“The place to be in Christiansted”

If you are searching for a comfortable place for a reasonable price you are right at hotel Caravelle. Arriving at the reception there where no questions asked, just a little form to sign and you get the keys right away without long waiting times or complicated check-in procedures. The room is okay for the price you pay. Everything is clean but obviously not the newest. Still it offers you everything you can ask for (AC, TV and a Kingsize bed). However the best thing about the Caravelle is mostly the location. It's in the center of Christiansted, right next to the water whith everything close to you (Grocery stores, shops, bars, restaurants). Enjoy your stay!

“Perfect Location”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Croix. It is right in the heart of town within walking distance to everything. The view of the harbor is spectacular. I would go back again.

“extremely satisfied”

From the time we entered the hotel, the staff was polite and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. My only disapointment was the balcony, it is actually a false balcony. So you can't go out and stand on it....But i highly recommend this hotel and i plan to return to St. Croix and stay at the Caravelle hotel.

“Beautiful seaside hotel right in the middle of Christiansted.”

Excellent hotel right in the middle of Christiansted. Very nice rooms with common ammenities. All major sites and shopping are within quick walking distance from the hotel. Only problem is that there is no elevator so if you've got heavy luggage, you might get a workout. Hotel staff are all friendly and will bend over backwards for you to make your stay pleasant. The hotel's restaurant/bar Rum Runners is world-famous and now I know why. Great food at very good prices. Beautiful views from our rooms balcony.
