Beach hotel

Posted May 5, 2015
Beach bar service slow with food and drinks. Room was ok. Bring BUG spray. Lots of mature so don't be surprised. Just ok. Not horrible or 5 star but it does the job.

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: SCUBA dive shop
Cons: Don't schedule another Spring Ball. This was very disruptive, many guests were complaining because of the noise.
Free ferry for hotel guests to and from the boardwalk, so convenient. Hotel has a very nice beach, rooms are a little tired but very clean and comfortable. I would stay her again.

Dated hotel and rude employes

Posted Apr 18, 2015
We arrived early since we had an overnight flight and they were able to accommodate our early check in but not without the young miserable girl in the offices attitude. Then we went over to have breakfast to only encounter more rude employes and a male with light eyes staring at us the entire time. He eventually had his employes come over to our table to tell us our 2 yr old could not touch the salt or sugar packets. Not a good way to start out vacation. At that point I had wish I had taken the insurance on our trip. These people live on a beautiful island and they are miserable. Rude people should not work the front desk nor interact with customers. Aside from the rudeness and dated rooms the hotel is perfectly located. We rented a car a saw where other hotels were located and we were happy with our choice. The other two ladies in the office were very nice because of one of them we did get our room sooner on arrival. The pool was pretty gross. The young pool boy did the minimal which is why it looked like it did. I'm sure their is someone on st croix that would be happy to have his job. I believe if the owners of the hotel took a better look at their employes their guest would be much happier.

Excellent staff, great views

Posted Apr 18, 2015
The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The room is a little dated but very clean with beautiful bathrooms. The Tuesday evening party on the beach was such a great time! We will be back for sure. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Darius Bailey stays on the Cay

Posted Apr 17, 2015
I would recommend staying at this hotel. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week. It was our first time in the island. Although there are better rated lodging facilities on the island, I believe this hotel represents the island well.

Pros: Location
Cons: Update the rooms Change restaurant management
Nice location...beautiful view of the sunrise. Had to put a bath towel up to ensure privacy because window louvers are dated and crooked which allows passerby's to see inside your room.
