Avocado Pitt - Small, casual, independently owned spot. Inside seating and harbor-view seating on covered sidewalk along hotel's ground-floor retail section. Open for breakfast and lunch. Lunch choices such as wraps, sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, smoothies, coffee drinks, tropical drinks.

Louisa's Lounge - Bar/lounge with wooden ceiling, ceiling fans, floral-cushioned seating and barstools. Open late afternoon to late night.

A ferry departs from the Christiansted National Historic Site, adjacent to the hotel, 200 yards across the harbor to a public beach on Protestant Cay. Round-trip fare is $3 (subject to change).

An independent water-sports center in the hotel's retail section offers glass-bottom, power-boat, and snorkeling excursions via sailboat to Buck Island Reef National Monument. The center also books scuba excursions that originate in the Salt River Bay National Park & Ecological Preserve. Several dive centers within three blocks of the hotel offer scuba excursions from the harbor. Fishing charters are also available off St. Croix.
