Great Overnight Stop

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, the pool and spa
We stopped at the Best West Plus Abbey Inn for one night en route from Colorado to California. It was very clean and comfortable. My kids (ages 7 and 9) loved the pool and spa - perfect after a long day on the road. The breakfast in the morning couldn't be beat. It was far and away the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! All in all, it was a great place to stay.

Basic hotel close to the highway.

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Easy to find from the highway.
Cons: A member of staff could control the seating for breakfast. Towels could be provided in the gym.
Location: There is shopping nearby.
Room was clean but the furniture was a little worn in places. The bathroom could do with updating. The free breakfast was very good, however since we were there at the weekend it was extremely busy and there were not enough places for people to sit down. The gym was very basic and no towels were provided in there.

Very nice hotel with comfortable bed.

Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: THis hotel had a very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: The sofa bed was sagging in the middle (when used as a sofa).
Location: This hotel is near Zion National Park.
We actually went to St. George to visit the Wilding Wall Bed Showroom as we were purchasing a wall bed and felt like Wilding had the best to offer. While were were there we went to Zion National Park.

Disappointed.

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: Close to family function we were attending.
Cons: Pillow size and cleanliness of room.
Hotel pillows were small like throw pillows. Also I think there may have been animals in the room previously because my allergies were very bad when I was in the room, but improved when I was away from the room.

Short, but enjoyed our time there.

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: The outside of the hotel looks very modern. The breakfast was great and staff were also very helpful.
Cons: The rooms need updating and freshness.
Location: Location was great. It was too cold to do much of anything in St. George so can't comment on any of that.
We were a little disappointed in the hotel once we were inside our room. It all looks great from the ouside and the foyer, but the halls and room seemed to need a little upgrading. Everything looked a bit tired.

Great place to stay

Abbey Inn came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was fantastic. Had two conditioners instead of one and no lotion. Front desk quickly fixed that.
