“I'd go again!”
I loved the location of the hotel. It was about 10 minutes north of St. George, which I really liked because it wasn't very busy. There was a beautiful view from our room of the beautiful mountains. The hotel itself was reaonably comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed and had a good continental breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Days Inn in Hurricane to whoever wants a less busy place to stay.
“Closest thing to a homeless shelter”
Wash basin was stopped up, 2 electrical fixtures were removed from ceiling but the wiring was left exposed and hanging. Moulding around edge of wall had been removed and jagged Sheetrock remained. The dresser drawer was broken and would not close. The towels were threadbare, the bed coverlet could use laundering. Carpets were dirty. Grout on bathroom floor was dirty ( black with dirt & wear) Couldn't wait to leave . Luckily I only booked one night. Don't let the name fool you... This is not consistent with other hotels in this chain. The only thing it had going was the proximity to Zion National Park (approximately 25 miles). Continental breakfast was 2 types of dry cereal, toast and waffles. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again. This is definitely not even worthy of one star. Unfortunately there are very few choices in Hurricane. I would definitely not recommend staying here.
“A fine stay on the tour”
We find that the hotel gave us value for the money, and we enjoyed the indor swimmingpool.
“worst hotel ever stayed”
The room was filled with strong paint smell. The towels and bed sheets were in bad conditions. The breakfast was really nothing. We waited for half hour to find the person supposed to be at the front desk.
“Just a little more”
NIce location. Just a little more effort on the management and it could be a 5.
“Good Value”
No complaints except that their wi-fi internet did not work. We were banking on that to see the French Open match being broadcast live on NBC online, so it was a huge disappointment. Other than that, the condition, cleanliness and room service were satisfactory. Good value for $$.
“Good value”
We've stayed here a couple of times, and there always seems to be a musty smell, but other than that the place seems pretty clean. It's not the newest place on the block, but i have no complaints with the room. The pool was great, too, as was the television and internet access. We'll probably stay there again.
“Cheap and got what I paid for”
It was about 25 miles from Zion, but the price was much more reasonable than some of the locations next to Zion. There wasn't much to do in the immediate surrounding. We found that it was more convenient to go into St. George (about a 10 - 15 minute drive) for meal options. The room was clean and in good condition. We appreciated having a breakfast with our stay as well.
“No maintenance”
Our sink was plugged up and our shower had the slowest water imaginable.
“Bed Bugs!”
I recently stayed at the Days Inn. My family stays there at least once a year. We usually enjoy the pool and closeness to Zions. On this last trip, we found bed bugs in our beds. I told the manager and nothing was done. My sister stayed a day longer and said they rented the room out the next day. Careful.
