I'm an edge of the bed sleeper. Irolled over to hug the other side & discovered a wet spot. I tore the bed apart & discover the maid put fresh sheets over a spilled coffee from their previous guests. This made for an unpleasant stay.

Location: Hiking in Zion and Bryce Canyon N.P.s. Stunning scenery, highly recommended!
GOOD: > The rooms are very clean, reasonably sized and have the usual amenities. > Air conditioning works well (important in this area). > Reasonable price and distance from Zion National Park, considering it was high season. BAD: > My initial check-in was OK, but I witnessed hassles on the two separate nights I was at the motel. The manager seemed more interested in blaming online booking services than in solving the problem. > Most rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. Not an issue for me, but two older women who were checking in were not happy. Manager expounded at length about building code requirements instead of just offering to assist them. > Continental Breakfast : Relatively worthless, eat in town. > Parking spaces are spaced so tightly that I was concerned about having a giant SUV ding my rental car.

sub standard Day's Inn

Pros: It was quiet. The shower was nice.
Cons: Mainly clean up the place. Things can be old, but they do not have to be dirty.
Location: St. George and Zion National Park is near by.
The hotel needed cleaning in the hall ways, stairwells, and the outside entrances. There was an old mattress near back entrance, plus a corner of cigarette butts from employees. The stairwells were dirty, mop boards covered with drink or food. The room wasn't too bad. It needed dusting and cleaning along the sink area. The bed sheets were pulled up on the corners, looking like the sheets had not been changed. The hotel did not meet Day's Inn standards.

Pros: The coolness of the room's air conditioner.
Cons: Enlarge the breakfast room. Have more employees who can staff the front desk & the breakfast area separately.
Location: The hotel was at the end of town & not near anything too close.
We had a good size room for 4 people. We enjoyed the coolness of the air conditioner and the ceiling fan was an added bonus. We were not greeted in a friendly manner by the desk clerk when we were checking into our room. The room for breakfast was in a terribly small area. There was no coffee when we arrived to get our breakfast. We ended up not eating there nor getting coffee until we were on the road to our next destination. We were also disappointed in the location of the hotel. It is on the outskirts of town, away from most restaurants.

Convenient to Zion National Park

This hotel met our needs perfectly. It was close enough to drive back and forth to Zion National Park, our room was very clean, and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Pit stop on the way to Zion

Pros: Location
Cons: The shower wall was starting to crumble due to moisture.
Location: Zion National Park- 1/2 hour away
We had driven 12 hours that day and all we needed was a place to spend the night. The room was neat and clean and cool. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The indoor pool was open and we took advantage of it and spent about an hour in the pool. There were other families and couples enjoying it also. We slept well and took off early the next morning after grabbing a bite to eat at the free breakfast bar. All in all, a pleasant stay. The price was right- we got it on line.

Rude and poor

We had come to expect friendly helpful staff in America but not here! On arrival the lady we later found out was the manager didn't even say hello she merely barked 'reservation' at us. She huffed and puffed whilst I was finding ID and then told us breakfast time and disappeared. Next morning there was no coffee at first. Poor young girl on reception was apologetic and said the manager was sleeping. Milk ran out for guests who came down to breakfast after us and they were told the milk was locked in manager room and she couldn't get in. Talking to another guest, she told me the manager's child was climbing over the breakfast tables when she arrived - she got a similar welcome to us. Needs to be resolved - letting your company down!

Very clean hotel room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great room at a great price. I would stay here again.
