“Southwestern hospitality”
Had some good laughs with the kind man who runs this place with his wife. The rooms are snug, but they are definitely more than enough for the thrifty traveler looking for some comfort and security.
“Great stay!”
A great bargain, and a very comfortable place to stay. It is old, but it was just fine.
“Accidental St. George Vacation”
Planned on staying in Hurricane for a short evening before Zion the next day, but ended up in this gem in St. George instead because it was so cheap, and ended up staying for two full evenings and loving every moment of it. Hotel was remarkably clean with full kitchen and two big beds. Front desk was kind and extremely helpful in guiding us toward the bowling alley, liquor store, grocery store and the only bar in town. The next time I make it through St. George I won't even bother looking anywhere else; this place is easily worth twice the price. Thanks Dixie!
“Dixie Palms”
Nice, clean, friendly
“good place”
good for price
“Excellent value for money”
It wasn't fancy, but definitely a pleasant place to stay.
“Older, clean, hospitable.”
Older, but nice and clean, manager very nice and helpful.
“A Pleasant & Comfortable Motel”
Park right outside of your room. Air conditioning works well. Fridge and microwave in room. Plenty of towels available in the closet. Wifi actually works!. Visit the Bear Paw Cafe for break two blocks down the road. Best breakfast ever!
“Adorable, Clean, Comfortable - more than you'd expect”
The elderly couple who run this little motel are very sweet. They maintain this property incredibly well, both inside and out. Our room even included a little fridge and microwave! It is an older property and if you're looking for a resort, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a safe, comfortable room at a great price, please consider staying here.
“Great hotel for such a good price.”
Wonderful staff, very helpful and fast in checking us in and offering some tips and coupons for surrounding area. Room was very clean and had a nice older but well kept feel to it. I felt like it had a little more character than the usual cheap hotels. The furniture looked nice and well made. It included a small fridge and microwave. There are only about 18 rooms and it is all one story so it wasn't very busy. It is right next to St. George Blvd so you get some traffic noise, other than that it was very nice and totally exceeded my expectations for the price. I was very happy with everything and would recommend it to anyone needing a place in St. George, I would have stayed there longer with no problem.
