Good for small family, inexpensive

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Clean and quiet rooms, kind employees, pool and hot tub, microwave and fridge
Cons: Breakfast could really use an upgrade. Adding fresh fruit would help significantly
Location: St. George is full of fun things to do. One of the newest additions is a Children's Museum next to the city center. Our children LOVED this. $3/person
We traveled to St. George to visit family, this was our first time staying at the EconoLodge. Next time we come down, we will look into staying there again. The room was clean, pool was pleasant, the employees were kind. The hotel is a bit older and it's age is visible inside and out. The breakfast was the only real disappointment as there was no fruit or anything that could be considered fresh. However, they did have dried generic cereal, fruit juices, coffee, waffles, and packaged bakery items. We stopped by a grocery store for breakfast. The air conditioning unit was old and loud, but it worked. The beds were fairly comfortable. The microwave and fridge worked. One of the things that surprised me (because of the age of the hotel) was how quiet it was inside our room. The hotel was busy when we stayed, but we could not hear any of our neighbors or cars passing by. I have already recommended this hotel to family members who will be traveling down soon.

Good value for a quick stay

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The location there were a lot of really great places to eat within walking distance
Cons: Maybe update the rooms a bit with newer TV and a quieter AC
We had to find a room on short notice and we found this room for a good price, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of tv channels. It was a nice stay

Hotel was unpleasant

The hotel was very rundown, and I didn't feel safe staying there. I would deffinately pay more and get a nicer hotel next time.

A good place to stay a night

Posted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was a fine place to spend the night while passing through Utah. Breakfast was pretty sparse on options, but there is a waffle maker. Not many protein choices. It was convenient to the highway and the price was good for the room I received.

Unfriendly staff

Posted May 21, 2014
The morning staff was uncourteous rude unfriendly and just mean had some cash problems that resolved them selfs. But he could have been more understanding. But he was more concerned about his bottom dollar...stay away from this motel....

Well managed older property

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: location. pricing. front desk staff
my college-aged daughter and I just needed a safe, clean, affordable room for a Saturday night after hiking for a week. This EconoLodge is very satisfactory. pool and hot tubs were clean. Laundry facility a hike and rudimentary and dark, but oh well. The office staff were very helpful, even providing heavy tape so I could tape up a box to mail home. Breakfast satisfactory -- waffle griddle nice. get coffee elsewhere. On site is a Thai place that was fairly good. This facility dates back to the 60's, but our room was large, had a mini fridge and microwave, and was clean and quiet.

Okay for a place to sleep for the night

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Price was right, it was fine for a place to sleep for one night. It is close to restaraunts and everything we needed. A little dated, but clean. Swimming pool was cold, hot tub jets were like a volcano. It was fine for a stopping point on road trip.
