Great hotel for the pricePosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: The price, location, staff, the room and breakfast
Cons: Only thing I can think of is to have eggs available for breaksfast.
Location: The location is easy access to I-15. We were only passing through so don;t know anything to do near by
We reserved the room for $30.00 per night which included a hot breakfast. We were leery about what kind of place we would be staying. What a pleasant surprise! Check in was very smooth, easy. Our room was very large, very clean. They beds were very comfortable, we both slept really good. Lots of hot water for our showers. Breakfast consisted of self made waffles, cereals, toast, juices and lots of hot coffee. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Pros: It was very clean and they had a good sized refrigerator and a small microwave.
Cons: Have no barbequing near the hotel, have tissues, blankets and more towels.
Location: Go to see the temple and the visitors center nearby.
The main thing we did not like about the hotel is that some people who were living there had a charcoal barbeque going and the fumes came into our room. There were no tissues or blankets on the bed. (only bedspreads) There were stains one one chair and the beds were too firm. The breakfast choices were limited. All they had was waffles, juice and one kind of cereal. They only had one set of towels for 4 people.

Not what I would expect. Lot of people that were staying there lived there. The curtails were old and had cigarette burns. The comforter was stained. I would definitely not go there again. There was an envelope for tips that was written by a child and could not spell. Unprofessional

Downtown MotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
An older motel in the midst of remodeling, it embodies its name: the Economy Lodge. The employees were helpful and responsive. The room and fixtures were modest and clean, and there was no mildew or cigarette odor. Although there were families and individuals living there, it was quiet enough to sleep after 9pm. The location provided walking access to restaurants and the city's sights. Snow Canyon, Zion, the Grand Canyon, even Vegas are possible as day trips of varying lengths.

Plenty of better hotels in the area...Posted Oct 3, 2013
Cons: Fix the wifi...
Location: Stayed on the way to/from Zion. But it;s pretty far.
The hotel is small and run down, the staff isn't helpful at all and isn't knowledgeable of the area or even what is on the same street. I called to verify that the wifi worked in-room... Nope... Not in room, and if you stand in the front office and try to use it there, it takes a few minutes to load an email. You have to walk to the hotel next door for breakfast... It wasn't good there, but that hotel seemed a better choice than this one. It's also very loud and the walls are paper thin. There are apparently a number of people living in the rooms there. Which means more noise and people just hanging around and yelling between rooms and floors. Would not stay again, there are plenty of other options in the area.

I took a motorcycle across country and stayed in seven different hotels, always the cheapest available and this one was by far the worst. The shower curtain rod was hanging in place by a coathanger wrapped around the rod and connected to an old fire sprinkler on the ceiling.

Perfect for stop overPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff were very friendly and my room was much larger than expected. The ice machine wasn't working but other than that everything was great. Pancakes and cereal for breakfast was just fine. Overall it was a great stay.

It is economy, after all!Posted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Worth for a night. The internet is not great but the manager is willing to fix if you notify him and if he is there. The ice machine is outside in the parking lot and won't make ice much. Other than that it's ok to bare for a night.
