“Outstanding Hotel”

The Hilton Garden Inn in St. George typlified why I enjoy staying at Hilton Hotels. This is a very professional hotel combined with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The check-in process was easy; the desk clerk was happy to answer questions I had of restaurants, getting around town, etc. The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The room I stayed in was very clean and had all of the amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable. The breakfast I had in this hotel was better than the breakfast I had in a nearby restaurant specializing in breakfasts the previous day, so I commend the chef. Hotel stays and opinions are obviously personal, but I am now a fan of this specific hotel and will stay there again. I recommend it.

Area recommendations

I am not overly familiar with St. George and did not have time to discover it, but I think it is a very nice, clean-cut city and a great place to stay when visiting Zion National Park and/or Cedar City. If it wasn't so hot in St. George in the summers I'd consider moving there, but I already live in a hot climate and I wouldn't be inclined to move to another city with a similar climate.

Dining

While in St. George we ate at the Olive Garden and it was amazing. Even though I enjoy going to the Crackerbarrel for breakfast, I found their menu a bit too labor-intensive. The breakfast I had at the Hilton Hotel in St. George was better.

“An outstanding hotel”

The comfort and quality of this hotel made for a very pleasant stay. The staff was professional and helpful, the location was convenient to attractions, restaurants, and transportation. “rooms not as clean.as.expected. carpet was dirty and.stained”

I got a handicapped room and the spacing was good. The problem with the room was cleanliness. The floor was filthy. It looked like it wasn't cleaned in months. Otherwise the room was fine.

“Great St. George trip”

Awesome hotel, great breakfast (get the breakfast package if you can). Very convenient access to everything St. George and I-15. Pool was superb, clean and fun for the kids. Everything was as advertised if not better. Highly recommend this hotel. We had three kids (7,5,2) plus my wife and I in the room, great for the family.

“Could Have Been Better”

The room was pretty clean, but it could have been better. There were some stains on the carpet and some grime on surfaces. The beds are supposed to be adjustable for comfort, but we could never find the controls. I searched the bed all over and even pulled up the bedskirt and duvet all around the bed. No luck! The bed was a little to hard for my taste. I wish a breakfast buffet was included in the price. Good location. Good service.

“Probably the best hotel in the area”

As far as St George goes, there's not a whole lot of luxury choices. The bed here was comfortable and the service was great. We had a tiny maintenance problem when we first arrived, and they had someone in there fixing the issue within 5 minutes. The air conditioner works great as well. The location was perfect...2 minutes from the interstate, and plenty of shopping/restaurants within a couple of minutes. The sports grill across the street had surprisingly tasty food. The hotel does not have continental or complimentary breakfast, but they do have a little restaurant where you can sit down and have breakfast. We did not eat there so I can't speak for the quality. We felt that the quality of the room for the price we paid was much better than average.

Outdoors or beach

The Coral Canyon Golf Club was amazing!!! Gorgeous fairways and greens in pristine condition. We were very happy to have gone there in July and not see a single brown spot on any of the fairways. It's a must for golfers.
