was just one night, really hard to ratePosted Oct 1, 2013
we only stayed one night, room was clean, dog hair on the mat at the door but room was clean. It was really quiet but, being a Sunday, everything was shut down. Hard to find a decent place to eat, only one diner open besides fast food joints. Good food at the diner tho', was worth the price.

Nightmare PalacePosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Tear down everything.
I waited over 2 years for this trip to St.George UT. It was very late. Room had extremely unpleasent odor, worn out mattress, furnitures, linens, even 2 TV's so old doesn't have a clear picture. I had to change a room middle of night. Some reason "Electronic keypad" was out of order, it took over 1 hour and 3 extra trip to office for different "key card" every time. I ended up with there "master key card" it was 12:45 AM. after all that trouble only difference was that a mattress was a little better. So call SUIT is this contion, I don't even want to think what's a standerd room will be. Sadly, I saw 2 other people waiting on assistance for same reason. I paid for 3 nights but I had to check out early in the morning move to different location. Only reason I book my trip with Howard Johnson was that I couldn't find places for 3 night without change room with my dog. What a nightmare that was.

Hotel was decent but dirty rooms?Posted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
I thought the condition of hotel was good. The beds were ok, hot shower, pool was good for kids, fridge, cont. breakfast had enough choices. Remote only worked going backwards, iron didn't heat up. The only thing that I couldn't overlook was the cleanliness of the hotel in general. I had dirty towels hanging up behind the bath door. My adjoining room had a dirty toilet that wasn't flushed and the floor wasn't mopped. How hard is it to take a rag and wipe the baseboards and floor. Even the lobby walls were getting black. I cleaned it myself and it took less than a minute. So sad since the rest of the hotel was actually okay.

Pros: Howard Johnson's is in the perfect spot for visiting St. George, very close to shopping, movies and Zion National Park.
Cons: The look and the cleanliness.
Location: Howard Johnson's is in the perfect spot for visiting St. George, very close to shopping, movies and Zion National Park.
One of the saddest things about the hotel was the ants in the shower. The hotel is very out dated, it seemed so old. The only good time about the hotel is that it is the location.Howard Johnson's is in the perfect spot for visiting St. George, very close to shopping, movies and Zion National Park.

1-night stay on roadtripPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Love the location; near the freeway and restaurants, cheap gas, etc. I've stayed here before and decided to stay again because it was pretty reliable. Clean, comfy room with more than enough space for 2 people with the standard king room. My only complaint is that the continental breakfast was lacking in quality and variety. Plus we decided to sleep in a bit, and the breakfast selection was practically crumbs when we showed up (Even though the breakfast lasted another hour). The staff noticed it was empty and replaced some of the items for us. Basically just muffins, bread, and cereal.

Surprisingly big room, recently painted and cleanPosted Aug 19, 2013
We called from another city at about 5:00 local time looking to set up a reservation for about 3 hours from then. When we booked through the website, we checked in with no issues at all. No lost reservations, no additional charges, hassle-free. Pleasant experience!

Great hotel for pets with a great rate!Posted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly staff! Plenty of hot water and water pressure for your shower! The in-room amenities were great (fridge/microwave/internet/TV). Included breakfast; great value when you have children. We stayed in the pet friendly room and it didn't smell like animals. Great location for freeway access.
