Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Large rooms, great staff, clean, good breakfast, great location
Cons: Pool was slightly small, and shallow, on a very hot summer day
Location: Beautiful town at the entrance to Zion National Park. Beautiful Park with great walks, views
After five days in Los Angeles and Las Vegas Springdale was our next stop. Perfect location to start experiencing the great outdoors

Good value, great location, amazing scenery

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Location, appearance, staff, and amenities
Cons: WiFi access could be a lot faster
Location: Easy access to shops, restaurants, hiking, adventure tours, and more
We booked this hotel without much prior research on the area. We wanted to visit the national parks and wanted to be as close to Zion as possible without actually staying in the park itself. I have to admit I didn't have high expectations because we booked last minute and figured La Quinta would be adequate but nothing special. However, my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is very attractive, has excellent accommodations, a friendly staff, and of course free breakfast and wireless Internet (what more could you want?) Above all, though, what I liked best was the location. La Quinta is right in the middle of the main Springdale strip where you can find numerous great restaurants and shops within walking distance. To get to Zion you can either drive 2 minutes down the road or walk to a nearby shuttle stop to ride the free Springdale shuttle. This hotel is laid out like a motel with various two-story buildings each containing about twenty-four rooms. Parking is free and convenient. There's a small laundry room, workout room, and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is served every morning from 7:00 to 10:00 in the main building. It's not the fanciest continental breakfast, but the food was very tasty, especially the freshly baked muffins and waffles. The staff is always present and ready to help or clean up after you. All in all a lovely hotel with breathtaking views of the nearby canyon walls.

Great place, near Zion

It really does have the mountains in the background. Our kids loved the pool with the lighted deck jets. And the spa was very relaxing after a day of hiking in Zion. Great place to stay with the family.

It was a little pricy but it was worth it.

Pros: The swimming pool, very friendly for family and kids. The rooms for pets were only use for that. No smoking rooms.
Cons: Breakfast add more hot cooked entries.
Location: Zion park was closely. Other national parks as Bryce also. It was very convenient for the purpose of my trip.
Excellent experience, I would recommended to anyone.

A pleasurable stay just outside the park.

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Comfortable rooms. Stylish architecture.
Cons: Heat the pool for evening use and extend pool hours. Open the attached restaurant/bar.
Location: The hotel is near everything to do in Zion.
This was a nice well appointed hotel in the heart of the of the Zion Park area. Everything you need is in walking distance and shuttles take you into the park. The hotel d├ęcor was pleasing and the rooms very comfortable. The hotel seems to still be finding its way...as there is a restaurant/bar onsite that wasn't open. The supposedly heated pool was actually quite cold...but many will find that refreshing on sunny 100 degree day (not so pleasant in the evening however) Overall...a nice place to stay when visiting Zion.

Very good experience, enjoyed the location and the stay at this hotel. Definitely plan to go again next year. The location is excellent in this small pleasant town, parking is adequate, the room and facilities are new and very clean. Very much enjoyed our stay during 4th of July.

Good location, comfortable room.

Pros: Location and reasonable value for money.
Cons: Room decor
Location: Close to many restaurants, shuttle bus stop, and shops.
There are many motels in Springdale, and I chose La Quinta because of the nice photos on their website. The room turned out to be not as nice as the photos indicate, but decent enough, and clean and quiet. Location is excellent, right in the middle of everything - shops, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was included and was good. We did not use the pool, but it looked great from the outside.

Nice place to relax after a day of hiking.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Very clean & quiet rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Very easy to get to Zion. Good, reasonably priced restaurants just blocks away.
Great hotel very close to the park. Shuttle right outside the hotel took us to the visitor center, so we didn't need to drive the entire time we were there. Breakfast was filling and fueled us for a full day of hiking and exploring Zion. With the heat we were happy to have a cool place to return to and the kids could spend the evening swimming. I would definitely stay there again.
