Yuck!Posted Nov 25, 2013
Cons: Clean the rooms.
This motel room was a terrible disappointment. our room had not been cleaned from the previous tenant. All they did was make the bed and wipe off the sink. There was a used bar of soap in the tub with hair on it. The bed sheets had clearly not been changed or they were so stained that you could not tell that they were clean. The floor had not been vacuumed. The maid even had nerve to leave an envelope for a tip. This place was yucky!

This hotel was aweful! I reserved 4 rooms for 2 nights. When we got to our rooms the first door I opened I could not even walk inside! The smell of a dead mouse (masked with the most aweful smelling air freshener) hit me so hard it made me sick! The farther down we went they smelled slightly better. I had them give us a different room. When I told them it smelled like something died they didnt really say anything (an opology would have been nice), On the 2nd night the others staying in the other rooms left early (not surpized) the staff was not workable about giving us a refund even though their place was smelly and nasty! My family and I will never stay here again! EVER!

Super 8 HurricanePosted Nov 6, 2013
Greeted by a receptionist with his headphones in and playing on his laptop when we arrived! No elevator which was a pain but expected. In easy reach of Zion National Park (20 minutes drive) and has lots of fast food or local eateries nearby. Breakfast was standard motel fare (a couple of cereals, waffles, bagels etc).

Super 8 should be ashamed!Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: It was a good location--gas station, movie theatres, fast food and restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: The property needs a complete renovation.,
Location: Hurricane is near Zion National Park.
This hotel should not be in the Super 8 family. The first room they wanted to give us had prints of some sort all over the window, someone had been laying on one of the beds and there were toys and dirt on the floor. The room had not been vacuumed. The second room smelled of cat urine--it wasn't until we were unpacked that we found coffee still in the coffee pot. The bedspread had stains on it; the bed was propped up with 2x4's sticking out from under the bed--we hit our feet on these getting in and out of bed. No furniture had been moved for vacuuming--there was a towel on the floor behind the TV stand. The lamp by the TV did not work. The last night there we killed a crawling bug on the wall. The towels were skimpy and rough. The bathroom floor was dirty--it had not been wiped. The floor boards and door jams were in disrepair.

Good price for visitPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: price and location We were out all day at Zion National Park and just really needed a place to shower and sleep. We could walk to places to eat.
Cons: The bedspreads had lots of cigarette burns on the underside. They need new ones for sure. Perhaps a good cleaning of the carpet too.
Location: Zion National Park is 20 minutes away, St George also
This hotel is very basic but it did the job. The on site manager was very helpful and friendly. Beware of the fridge! It froze all our food on the lowest setting! I would return to this hotel.

OK for price, clean, breakfast lacks nutrutionPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Staff, cleanliness and location.
Cons: Put some form of protein out for breakfast (hard boiled eggs, etc.). Also, the eating room is incredibly small for the size of the hotel.
This is a perfectly OK place if what you want is a cheap, clean, quiet room. The staff was pleasant and accomodating, the room and bathroom were clean, the bed and pillow were fine, and it was very quiet. In fact, I probably had one of my best nights sleep in this hotel I have ever had outside of my own bedroom. It is not fancy, the decor is dated, and the breakfast consists of a broad assortment of sugary carbohydrates, with absolutely no protein alternatives. If you like waffles, sweet rolls, syrup, and frosted flakes, you will be happy. I made do with a bowl of raisin bran and an apple. If you plan on eating breakfast out, this would not be a concern.

Nice place!Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: The location
Location: Zion National Park
The place is nice. The room is spacious. Close to a fast food chain and a gas station. The city itself is so close to Zion national park. But the rate could be 1/3 of the hotel just outside the park. For 30 minutes drive, I would prefer this place.

Cheap and close to ZionPosted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: Cheap, free breakfast, wifi.
Cons: A little smelly.
Location: Zion national park is the best thing in the area.
We stayed there just for a night after visiting Zion. The hotel is about a half hour away from the park in Hurricane, a city with a reasonable amount of restaurants and other hotels available. The room was clean although it did have a bit of an odor. But if you aren't concerned with nicer amenities this place should suit you fine.

Fair price - good accommodationsPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Good location near Zion's Park. Good prices.
Cons: Perhaps a little softer mattresses.
Location: Enjoyed the location near Zion's Park as well as on our way to Las Vegas.
There were no additional charges on top of what we had already paid to Expedia on-line. It was nice to have both a frig and microwave. The bed was a little harder than expected.
