Nice location, worth paying morePosted Feb 19, 2014
We had a room with a bathroom door that could not be closed, lights that kept us awake, and noisy air conditioners running when the day temps were under 70. Overall it was four walls and a roof, but not much else. As for the continental breakfast, the French do eat bread in the morning, but it is usually a baguette, not a store loaf. Not even coffee. Good thing Oscar's café was next door.

Lousy, dishonest ownerPosted Nov 29, 2013
The owner asked for cash above and beyond what we had paid to expedia. He wanted more money and wanted it in cash upon check in. It was nerve wracking.

If your on a budget or need to rest your headPosted Nov 8, 2013
This is not one of the better places to stay at in Zion by any means if you want to have a comfortable experience. The location is great and the place was surprisingly quiet during the night but other then that it is not the place you probably want to have a family vacation at. Stores and restaurants are all within walking distance. I am a hiker and photographer and am gone from the room except to sleep and take a shower. So for my means it was fine. The quality of the interior as far as furniture, paint, etc is not great or ok by any means. Basically just picture staying in an old motel. The breakfast in the morning I could have done without and I would recommend going to eat somewhere else or buying groceries. So again, if you are with a partner or family and the kids then yes stay at one of the more expensive places as I would the next time when I do bring the family. Those places I was a bit jealous of to say the truth. But if you are are not going to be in the room to relax and unwind like I am most of the time as I like to experience the park, then this place will do.

Ok for hikersPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Low price. Hot shower
Cons: The free breakfast is bad
Location: Zion is close and the Sol grocery store is across the street
If you are a canyoneer or a hiker and just need a bed and shower its fine. If you want a nice place with amenities then no.

Very worn out .Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Location: The location is very handy to the Zion National Park and shuttle.
The toilet had a sign on it that you must let the tank fill before trying to flush. It took over 1/2 hour for the tank to fill. Gee here is a thought, install a new toilet. Breakfast consisted of Walmart great value bags of cheap cereal and Great value bread for toast will squeeze margarine. As we ate in the sparse out dated and very small lobby the owner stood behind the desk belching without a word of apology. Disgusting. The entire place is very outdated and you can tell that it is just being milked for money until it totally dies. Do not stay here.

needs new buildingPosted Oct 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Sheets were clean. Carpet was stained. Veneer on dresser was peeling. Plumbing needed work. If you put a water bottle on one side of the room it would roll to the other side, it was slanted that much. Also you could hear all that was going on in the room above. We found that it was very hard to understand the office manager.
