Great central location. Great Price

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Location, quite at night, courteous staff, waffles in the morning.
Location: Nice restaurants, a pub with good food, gas nearby, Thai food restaurant.
Had a pleasant stay at the Inn at St George. The staff was very helpful and courteous. There was a waffle machine ready to go in the morning for breakfast. The location is near several nice restaurants and other shops. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Clean pool. And I was able to do my laundry on site, which was a big help. A great bang for the buck.

Decent hotel for a cheap price

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Location! This hotel is located close to all the cool restaurants, cafe and downtown St George
Very simple place, but conveniently located. The room was slightly dated, but comfy and clean

Horrible stay and the management doesn't care!

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Cleanliness and the staff!
Location: Well it made me wonder about the location when there were two cop cars in the parking lot!
I have never written a review before and we travel a lot! But this was a horrible 8 hours! The bathroom was not clean, the shower had someone else's hair in it, used soap and used shampoo! so we couldn't use the shower! I told the management and they did absolutely nothing and never called me or fixed it! It made me wonder about the rest of the room but my kids were already asleep when I found this out!

We want to apologize about your recent stay with us. I have talked with the front desk agent that was working that night to make sure this never happens again. I have also addressed the issue of room condition with the head housekeeper and a more through inspection of the rooms is now happening. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this caused you and your family on your trip to St. George.

I want to apologize that the breakfast was not ready on time. It is important that we have breakfast ready at the time we say we will. I have spoken with both of our breakfast openers and we will not have this problem any more. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Would love to have a heated outdoor pool. May have to look for somewhere else to stay so the kids can swim it's was ice cold. Other than that loved the hotel for the price!

Thank you for your review. We are currently looking into ways to upgrade our pool to a heated one, and add a hot tub too. Our location in the heart of downtown does create some unique zoning issues when we do construction or property upgrades.

Nice place for cheap.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: It was just a walk to restaurants and shops...and cheap for 4 days.
Cons: Internet was spotty, but they were changing providers.
Location: Go to the Bear Paw Cafe and Cappeletti's Italian Restaurant.
It is dated and repairs and much of the interior remodel was done by "not even a skilled amateur" as my wife put it. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful when we needed anything. It was just a walk across the street to the shops and restaurants downtown. Walk to Cappeletti's and try the flat iron steak with Gorgonzola sauce!!! Overall I would stay there again so long as I wasn't planning on spending much time in the room. It was clean, the breakfast was good, the beds were soft, and it was conveniently located...just not "nice" looking inside.

Bill, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear the staff was able to take care of your needs. We do have a great location next to some great restaurants, shopping and historical sites. We are currently working on the condition of all of our rooms. Our location downtown creates some unique zoning issues that we are currently overcoming. It is a process that we are trying to complete as quickly as possible.

Not bad for the price but could be a lot better

Posted Apr 8, 2015
I stayed here for the price and the room was not in bad condition. But there were no comforters on either bed. I got in late and was told that breakfast was from 7-10. Took my kids down at 910 and it ended at 9. The gentleman had just woke up so I guess that's were the confusion came from when he gave me the time the night before. The breakfast was the only reason why I stayed there. As long as you know that it should not be to bad for you if you just need a place to put your head for the night.

I am sorry for the confusion about our breakfast times. I have talked with the staff about providing correct information and possibly extending breakfast hours to 10am. We double sheet our beds and the comforter is between the sheets. We do have extra blankets that are available upon request. Sorry for the inconvenience.
